If you’re on the fence, meeting with photographers, not sure where to turn, overwhelmed with planning or options then Kahli and Leo with Wild Alpine are your life savers. My husband and I have never been to Banff and decided to do a small elopement style wedding. We could not have asked for a better experience. From the first zoom meeting to the actual day Kahli and Leo both were so responsive by email and zoom calls, they helped with location scouting and had invaluable knowledge of the area. We even ended up changing our location within weeks of our wedding day due to Jasper wildfire closures and influx of Banff tourism and we felt no anxiety or apprehension thanks to Wild Alpine and their planning.

The day of couldn’t have gone any better. They were absolutely spot on with the timeline for our sunrise vow exchange and the most amazing hiking partners. We had such a fun and memorable morning and they will forever be a key part of our wedding day.

The photos are stunning and we struggle to pick favorites because they are breathtaking. Never have we had the pleasure to work with such talented, down to earth, thoughtful individuals. Leo & Kahli captured our wedding day exactly as we visualized! Not only did the photos turn out perfectly but they were so easy to work with. Made us feel comfortable and natural and we were able to have fun during the shoot. We also used there services for our engagement photoshoot where we hiked up a mountain and got epic photos as well! Could not recommend a better duo to capture your special day. We were originally supposed to get married in Jasper but unfortunately had to relocate due to the fires. Khali and Leo took us on and helped us throughout the entire (replanning) process. Kahli and Leo made our wedding day. There, I've said it!
Coming from the UK for an elopement in the Canadian Rockies, and having a particular vision for our wedding photography, Wild Alpine were the only choice for us. Every interaction with them either by email or video call reassured us we'd found our perfect photographers, and the help, assistance and suggestions along the way made the long distance planning go as smooth as possible, even with the odd bump in the road! Their knowledge of the mountains, location advice, timing the ceremony for the best chance of good light for the photography, it's all the little things they added that made the whole day incredible.
We're not usually "in front of the camera" kind of people but Kahli and Leo made us so comfortable it was like we were just on a day out with friends taking a few snaps along the way. But the photos we can now cherish forever were way beyond our expectations. Exactly what we were after, but a million times better!
We also discussed early on about trying for a night shoot if the opportunity came about while we were still in the area, and again, the guys did more than deliver on this.
We can't thank Wild Alpine enough for everything they did, above and beyond just being our photographers on our special day.

What an amazing experience!!! Kahli and Leo were extremely helpful from the start and quick to respond to any of my questions! We planned our engagement shoot a year in advance and they provided great recommendations on locations, hair, make-up, and places to stay! Despite the stormy weather the day of our shoot, Kahli and Leo remained calm and reassured us that it was all going to turn out great and they did not disappoint!! We trusted their advice on the weather and we are extremely happy with how the photos turned out! Their work is breathtaking and they are both very talented! We are so grateful to have had Kahli and Leo as our photographers for both our engagement photos and wedding day. We had originally only planned to do an adventure session with them for our engagement photos but after spending the day with them and seeing the photos, we knew we needed them for our wedding as well.

Kahli and Leo were amazing partners in the planning process, helping with everything from brainstorming hikes and photo locations to timelines for the wedding day. From hiking 20km to spending 12+ hours capturing everything at our wedding, they truly went above and beyond to make sure they captured the special moments. We are also really appreciative how receptive to feedback they were to make sure the photos matched our style.

We knew they could take incredible landscape photos but after getting our wedding gallery back we were blown away with their ability to capture the raw emotions and intimate details of our wedding. Looking through our photos feels like we're reliving the day over and over which is possibly the best gift we could have received.

We had so much fun with Kahli and Leo and are so happy to have found photographers who are as adventurous as we are. Thank you for being such an awesome part of our wedding!
