I’ve been seeing Laura for almost a decade and have been consistently happy with her work. I’ve had many styles from long shoulder length to shorter two-block (Asian style) haircuts and even if she isn’t sure what you are describing, bring a photo and she makes it happen. She’s always very pleasant and sociable and has become a friend of mine over the years…makes for even better haircuts as she has learned and remembers all the quirks about my hair that I even fail to notice! Definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a good stylist.

What a wonderful morning! I am so happy with my highlight and lowlight colour and cut, I’ve had many compliments so far, Kristie (feeling great) and I’m only 6 hours into my new look!
My daughter’s appointment, with Rachelle, didn’t quite meet her expectations, definitely not from the lack of trying from the stylist. Close, so very close and to my surprise, my daughter was charged for only the hair cut!
Really! Wow!!
The salon was beautiful, clean and inviting.
Monday most salons are closed. Ladies if you need a beauty service, this is the place to go. See you two, soon!

I had the best experience at XPose Hair salon in Nanaimo today. Rachelle the owner and Ellen are so empowered to making woman feel the best that they can. Both of them exude such confidence and genuinely want to let you know what can honestly be achieved. They pay special attention to scalp health along with teaching you the best way to take care of your extentions (which we all know is an investment). If you are looking for a salon to go to for a natural lived in look, you will feel like you are definitely in the right hands. 💛☺️❤️

I got my hair transformed and I am so in love with the result! Ry took the time today (6 hours) to work her beautiful magic on my hair and she did not disappoint at all! She did a fantastic job and I would recommend her to anyone wanting to try out this salon. Xposé is bright and beautiful. I had such a pleasant experience today, probably my best experience from any salon. I was so impressed with the extra measures of cleanliness and time put in to maintain protocol during the pandemic. From the second I walked through the doors I was impressed with the cleanliness and professionalism of the lounge. The atmosphere and aesthetic was really great. I got my hair done with Ry. At first I was a little apprehensive about how the colour turned out as I had went in looking to get a bright coppery colour and when my hair was done, it came out a deeper of a red but honestly as it turns out, I LOVE IT sooo much more!! The colour suits me perfectly which I would have never thought, I have already gotten many compliments on my hair and its only been a half day! I am extremely happy with how it ended up turning out. Not only did she end up nailing the perfect red shade for me, my hair is also the softest and shiniest its ever been. The whole process was great. She also gave me bangs which I haven't had in years and I am obsessed with them. So thank you Ry!!

This was my first appointment at the salon after being recommended to the owner Rachelle, and had a truly special experience. I am new(ish) to being blonde and actually maintaining the colour and know little to nothing about how to properly take care of my hair. Rachelle took the time to explain each of the products she uses and why, suggested what was best for my style and type of hair, and didn't push anything specific on me to make the sale. It was purely educating me on what she likes to use and why. She showed me along the way why she was doing certain things to my hair in terms of the cut and colour so I understood the method and the process which has never been done with me in my many years of getting my hair colored. I have been looking for a new stylist to build a relationship with, who understands my hair and my lifestyle, and am truly happy with the service that Rachelle provided. I felt like we were life long friends and can't wait for the next appointment on my hair journey!

I LOVE this salon… seriously, they can make your hair dreams come true lol I’ve been coming here on and off for years, I love to go from dark brown to blonde and every time a hair dresser (or me) have ruined my hair or couldn’t achieve my goals, I’d come to Xpose salon and they would fix it and make it look and feel amazing!!! ♥️ I remember a couple years ago, I tried to go platinum blonde and my hair was destroyed, orange and fried, I came in and had rachelle as my hair dresser and she brought life back to my hair and turned it into platinum. the last lady I had was Kali.. I came in wanting blonde balayage (my hair was too dark and unhealthy to achieve first try) but she gave me super cute bangs and highlights and I walked out the salon feeling great ! She was super sweet and personable and listened very carefully to what I wanted and gave me great tips and advice and I want to have her as my hairdresser from here on out ♥️
