My partner and I had a wonderful stay here! Cynthia is an amazing host, incredibly kind, and was so helpful during our stay. She made a great recommendation for eating out (Marilynne) that we greatly enjoyed.
We stayed in the king suite and I kid you not, I fell asleep immediately the moment my head hit the pillow. So incredibly comfortable. There were complimentary snacks, coffee and tea available too.
Breakfast was delicious with a nice spread of options to eat. I would 100% recommend you stay here if you're around the area!

We recently stayed at Two Sisters Inn while on a culinary weekend adventure and it was one of the most heartwarming, comfortable, and memorable getaways we’ve ever had in a long time. We booked the King suite, and from the moment we walked in, we were blown away by how spotlessly clean and beautifully designed everything was — especially the gorgeous ensuite bathroom which felt like our own private spa.

The bespoke touches in the room — like the delicious local treats and the calming aromatherapy diffuser — made it feel like a luxurious secret escape curated just for us. It’s truly incredible value for the high-end experience you receive at the inn.

Breakfast was another highlight — a fabulous spread featuring fresh ingredients from local farmers and small-batch purveyors, many of them women-owned businesses whom Cynthia makes a point of spotlighting at the inn. Cynthia is an incredible innkeeper who insuring guests have everything they could need during their stay. She even shared her wonderful homemade granola recipe with us (watch out it is addictive!), which was such a thoughtful touch!

It’s clear that Two Sisters Inn exudes what it means to support local — from the breakfast table to the helpful recommendations for places to shop, eat, and explore nearby. They love connecting guests with other local businesses and unique attractions, which really adds to the whole experience.

The attention to detail and the curated experience clearly come from a place of genuine love for what they do, and it shows in all the thoughtful details that make Two Sisters Inn a place we can’t wait to return to. If you’re looking for a cozy, high-end secret getaway with amazing hosts and a true sense of community spirit — don’t miss out on opening some time at this gem!

My friend and I stayed for one night while doing a weekend road trip in the area, and we couldn't recommend it more. The rooms were clean and comfortable and nicely decorated. Cynthia was extremely welcoming and showed us around. The breakfast was delicious - all locally sourced items from nearby bakeries and shops. The location was easy to get to. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

We were stranded in Markdale on Family Day due to bad weather/hazardous driving conditions and could not have been luckier to find the Two Sisters Inn. It is a quaint and cozy little Inn that our family loved. The King room was tastefully decorated and very comfortable. Cynthia was amazing - generous, helpful and so kind to open up for us stranded travellers on her day off. We could not be more thankful for our night here and look forward to returning in better weather!

If you’re feeling over the whole impersonal, code-lock-and-go Airbnb experience, Two Sisters Inn is the antidote. Staying here reminded me what travel should feel like—personal, warm, and full of delightful surprises.

From the moment we arrived, we felt like old friends rather than guests. Cynthia, one of the sisters behind the magic, is basically a human Google Maps—but friendlier and far more passionate about the local gems. She sent us off with insider tips on everything from pasta-making classes to hidden farm experiences, the best cideries, bakeries that will ruin you for all others, and the most scenic drives I didn’t know I needed.

They say breakfast is the most important meal of the day—and this one? Absolutely delivered. Think local, fresh, generous, and thoughtful. Not just “here’s a muffin and some juice” but “here’s everything you didn’t know you needed before 9am.” All locally sourced, beautifully prepared, and served with genuine care. I would go back for the breakfast alone (but luckily, there are about 27 other reasons to return).

And then there were the small touches—the things you’d never get from a generic stay. The beautifully embroidered logo on the bathrobes, the custom cushions, even the cheese board had the Two Sisters Inn stamp of charm and pride. Every corner whispers intention and care. It’s clear that everything here was curated, not just purchased.

Airbnb has slowly stripped away the soul of overnight stays. Two Sisters Inn gives it back. If you’re lucky enough to find a room available, go. You’ll leave rested, full, inspired—and probably texting friends to book their own stay before you’ve even checked out.

We had the extraordinary pleasure of staying with Cynthia for a night while visiting family in Markdale the week before Christmas.

We could not have been more pleasantly surprised. From the moment we walked through the door we knew that we were in a very special place.

Cynthia greeted us warmly, insisted we keep our boots, on then walked us up stairs to our room. We were awestruck. The room was beautiful, warm and inviting. Then we saw the bathroom. Absolutely gorgeous. We could not have been more thrilled.

When we returned downstairs Cynthia showed us her sitting/dining room where breakfast would be served at our convenience, gave us the entry code and said come back as late as we liked.

It only got better the next morning. When we come down for breakfast the table was set with a lovely spread of fruit & yogurt, meats & cheeses, hard boiled eggs, local bread & jams plus a terrific coffee machine that made a perfect latte. We brought our own Bailey's...lol

We couldn't imagine a better place to stay except with family.

No notes, everything here is perfect. Cozy room, wonderfully friendly and kind service, lovely decor top to bottom. Breakfast was a cut above as well — we loved the huge selection of yogurt toppings and the mini tourtières. Will absolutely stay here again.
