Aren is professional, works fast, and takes a personal interest in the buildings and Strata Councils that he works with.
I interviewed many companies and P.M.s and I'm glad to say I made the right choice. Aren Green and Tribe have helped me turn my building around to a safe and happy home. As a Strata President, I can tell you that the job takes a lot of time and energy. I finally have a business partner that is making my building the home that it should be for all of us that live here.

We have been totally pleased with the quick responses, attention to detail, efficiency, answers and help by Tribe Property Management and our manager Aren Green since our building hired them nearly a year ago. A lot of research was done and Tribe came out on top. Aren is easy to contact and always helpful and realistic, and he works so well with our Strata Council. Our condo building is quite new and Tribe Management has really changed things for the better and been able to fix and deal with the absolute mess our former property management company CML Properties left behind. We fully recommend Aren & Tribe!

The property managers do not communicate clearly with the owners. Unfortunately they are not able to interpret the Strata Property Act or utilize their resources to help council provide decisions or information to owners. I do not recommend Tribe Management for any property management services they are not accountable and go against their very own mission statement. Stratas and Owners beware they are not a competent property management service.

In May 2021 our long serving and excellent Gateway Property Management, was purchased by Tribe Property Management and that is when our troubles began. Aside from all the very insincere 'vision' statements that they presented - such as promises of "communication, transparency and service with heart", the actual service they offered was challenging from day one. We experienced an ever changing line of property managers, who often did try to provide services that were required, but in the end did not/could not deliver. Then in mid August 2022 with 3 weeks notice Tribe moved our Strata to another Property Management service, with absolutely no consultation nor collaboration. As Strata volunteers in the middle of summer, we were then forced to take actions on their decisions, and find a new property management service we were confident in. And we did. We are now happy to be working with Columbia Property Management, and our property manager is Diana Chin, who served us for many many years under the Gateway banner. Even now in late September 2022, and with Diana and Columbia's assistance, we are continuing to pick up the pieces of a very challenging changeover. I would give a completely negative review about Tribe Property Management Services.

As you'll see all the 1-star reviews (the lowest possible rating), I concur with all of the other reviewers about the absolute abomination of a company that is Tribe.

In my near 2.5 decades of being a REALTOR® in Kamloops I have never had a more poorer experience with property management than I have had with Tribe. It's a disgrace how terrible they deal with people and how awful they were to deal with. I hope they understand in the future how their actions have consequences with people, customers, clients and others involved.

Would not recommend, would not use and happy to share details if anyone has any other questions, comments or concerns. I rarely give 1 star - would give zero if possible. I hope I hear from Tribe so I can give them a helpful lesson and hopefully they will consider changing their methods. Until then avoid Tribe if at all possible.

UPDATE: I've spoke to a manager at Tribe. They seem to care, but as of yet all they want is for me to remove my review because they don't like it and find it damaging to their reputation. I've offered multiple solutions to resolve the situation... All anyone expects in this situation is to have someone accept fault for their role and make changes to their business practices and their customer interfacing... Time will tell, but at this point nothing has changed.

Gateway has been our property management company since 2016 and we couldn't be happier. Both Phil and Cindy address any questions or concerns promptly and efficiently. They notify us immediately of any issues that arise with the property and have contracted a team of very reasonably priced trades people to deal with maintenance issues. They proactively look after required annual maintenance without having to be asked or reminded. We highly recommend this team.

As a realtor, I work with various strata management companies and often require assistance obtaining strata documents. The staff at Gateway is superb! I've been working with different staff people over the last 10 years and everyone I interact with, has been incredibly helpful. Timeliness in providing the information is often critical to whether or not a sale completes so I am always grateful for the prompt and thorough service Boris and his colleagues offer. They are by far the most helpful property management company that I work with.
