Peggy and Eric have been a beacon of health and nutrition for a number of years for me and my family. Yesterday I had the privilege of being part of their farm tour and celebrating 10 years of growing.

I love seeing Peggy in her power and knowledge of seeds! Eric and Peggy are such a respectful team and the community grows around them. I learned how important it is that we grow seeds to ensure our food production is resilient to weather, disease as well as political disruption.

Learning from Eric about the timing and rotation of crops through the various greenhouses and fields was also inspiring (but honestly Eric I am convinced it is your musical taste that provide the spark to the soil/seeds/growth cycle).

We were vacationing on Manitoulin Island the week of July 11th and while driving on Hwy 540, we noticed a sign advertising farm products for sale. We knew we had made the right decision to turn in when we were met in the driveway by Meatball, the adorable resident chihuahua. The couple who own the farm are friendly, very helpful and approachable; answering all questions about their farming practices. We purchased an assortment of fresh produce, delicious sour dough bread, wild apple jelly, fresh eggs and a chicken that turned out to be one of the most delicious roasted chicken dinners. I and my 3 travel companions highly recommend all the products and a visit to this great location.
