With the caveat that I have never been into a fibre arts shop that isn't like this, the people working here are truly wonderful. Amazing selection of aida cloth, thread, and everything else a stitcher could need. They encouraged me to come back with images of my work with my supplies I bought and I intend to. A customer for life <3

Had a good time poking about. Found a chart I was hoping to find in my limited time during this visit and I did! I picked up a couple patterns and skeins of over-dyed floss. I’m confident this shop is a fantastic local resource. The ladies I spoke to were very friendly and didn’t make me feel rushed even though it was nearing closing when I arrived.

I started shopping at the Stitcher's Muse the first time i walked into their business on the main drag in town on the corner below the Palace Hotel. I like their set up in the store of course there is lots to look at. I craft lots, although I have not started needle art as of yet these last few years I use lots of the crafting materials they offer to customers. I bought some iron on patches (lots to look at), small fabric bunches, thread - lots of different needle sorts and I bought lots of different sorts as well. Embroidery hoops in different brands and sizes. Beads which I just love as the beads at this store are awesome. Buttons galore for special occasions. Oh, I better not forget to let you know... you can donate your unused and unneeded crafting materials. Than you can also buy any donated items at your price as to say. Zippers... so if you need a zipper this is a good start as anywhere else. There is lots to shop for in this store and I only mentioned as few. Great service and if you have any questions they like to help and inform you what any item is used for that they have there. I just wanna craft out all day... great store to go to.

Fantastic selection! Really the best stitching store we have yet to explore on the Island! (And we've been to a LOT!)
Extremely helpful staff, wonderful selection of a variety of patterns and materials! Prices were reasonable, and we happily left with a bag full of new projects! Thank you so much for all of your help, we greatly look forward to returning!!

After hearing about and then joining the online UFO club that the Stitcher’s Muse has I have been making steady progress on a lot of projects and several new ones that have been languishing in my cupboard. Super knowledgeable and friendly staff. I thoroughly enjoy the twice weekly online FB videos and feel that I’ve met several new online stitcher friends, not living in Nanaimo it is very easy to order items, either ordering online, calling or emailing them. Once we’re allowed to travel again I will be making the ferry trip across and browse the store and meet in person Dionne and Karen. Highly recommend this shop as a go to for all your stitching and sewing supplies.
