My friend and I had pedicures today. (She had booked them for us just before Christmas) I must say Nicole and Tara were out of this world for their services and so professional. Plus very friendly and polite.
I personally find it hard to have a good service in this city as well as have the customer service on top. Here we got both. We were both very happy. 🤩
I highly recommend them both. 5 out of 5 stars!! If you haven’t gone here you must try!

I had an ingrown toenail that was causing me a lot of pain, and Jess made the whole experience so much better. She got me in for an appointment quickly, which I really appreciated, as the discomfort was becoming unbearable. From the moment I arrived, Jess was incredibly welcoming and professional, making me feel at ease right away. The treatment itself was quick and surprisingly pain-free, with instant relief! It was amazing how fast it took my pain away. Jess is not only skilled but also truly caring, taking the time to explain everything she was doing and making sure I was comfortable throughout. I highly recommend Jess to anyone needing treatment especially treatments with their ingrowns —she’s fantastic!

I have had these injections elsewhere before, but the environment she provided to me would make me want to go back to her! I have a damaged tooth that I was scared was going to stick out like a sore thumb! Jess assured me that we would try to get it as white as possible. I’d like to share my experience with The Skin Studio’s Master Lash Technician Course. I waited until my case with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) was closed before posting, as I wanted to ensure that the matter was resolved—or at least addressed.
I enrolled in the $4000 Master Lash Technician Course, expecting high-quality kits and professional instruction. However, on my first day, the studio was unexpectedly closed when I arrived. I had to personally contact the owner (Nikol), who eventually arrived to open the studio and provide a little guidance until the designated instructor could join. Furthermore, one of my kits was missing, and the kits I did receive appeared to have been opened and used before. After researching the kit contents, I discovered that the supplies could be purchased online for around $500, meaning The Skin Studio profited roughly $3500 from the setup alone.
I was told that the kit I was missing would be mailed out to my home address, it never came. I waited 2 weeks and kept asking her, just to find out that it wasn’t even ordered in the first place. When it finally arrived, I received a completely different kit than what she said she was going to mail out to me.
Nikol continuously kept asking me if we could postpone and do the course another time and I said absolutely not, as I travelled down to Medicine Hat through a blizzard for 5 hours. She also continued to ask me if I would be alright with leaving for a bit and come back in a few hours because she wasn’t feeling good. I did because she seemed to be genuinely sick, which she wasn’t! She was hungover.
When the instructor finally arrived, I found the instruction to be lacking a little bit in structure and substance. Concepts, such as understanding lash adhesives or learning how to create different types of lash fans, were not covered as I thought it would be.
I worked with the BBB for quite a while and finally Nikol said that she would send a refund. I just very recently found out that my instructor had given Nikol the full $4000 in which I paid, out of her own pocket. Nikol told said instructor that I would be given my full refund back, I was not. Out of the $4000 that I paid; I was given $1000. My lash instructor had no idea that I did not get my full refund as she was told, until yesterday.
I was offered a teeth whitening course by a previous owner of the studio, who took the time to come to me personally. This was one of, if not, the ONLY positive aspect of my experience, as the gesture showed genuine concern for rectifying the situation. She has gone out of her way to continuously check in on me and ask how I am doing.
This is not the first time that Nikol has scammed someone. She is extremely well known for this, and she does NOT rectify the situation in any way shape or form. I was told time and time again that I would receive a phone call to discuss what’s going on, my phone never rang. I still never received access to the “studio student portal”, the “lifetime support” is an absolute joke as you can’t get a hold of her half of the time anyways. She will tell you repeatedly that she will do anything to fix the problem but takes no action or initiative to do so. I took time off work to travel and do this course and had to spend money out of my own pocket for lash products that were high quality.
All I wanted was my money back for the absolute hell that this course was, and the way that everything has been handled by Nikol. It feels great knowing that she pocketed $3000 from this and lied to the instructor about giving it to me!
Ultimately, this course was the most unprofessional, disappointing, and exploitative educational experience I’ve ever encountered. I hope this review helps others make more informed decisions about where to invest in their training

I've had 2 teeth whitening session, both times 14 shades lighter and couldn't be happier. Was nervous about getting sensitive teeth but had no issues after.
Also had a facial which was amazing.

Staff extremely friendly amd welcoming .

I got the Baby belly facial yesterday and it was such a refreshing and relaxing experience. Calm environment I liked the zen energy in the room. For Mama's that are expecting, I highly recommend getting this done for selfcare. I'll be going back to get it again. 🙂
