Perfect tattoo and beautiful private studio in the woods - highly recommend. This was my first full colour tattoo and in an intimate area (butt cheek!). I felt very well taken care of throughout. Jackson is exactly the type of seemingly gruff but truly lovely and caring person you want to get a bad ass tattoo from. I came to him with an idea for a cover up. He was honest with me about the reality of making a seamless cover up. We exchanged a bunch of ideas and I let him loose, which was perfect. I have a super sick decapitated wolf head on my thigh and I'm cooler for it. Plus he's super efficient!

10/10 would listen to punk with this dude anytime.

I got my first couple of tattoos with Jackson from The Mercy Seat Tattoo Co. in September.
Having never experienced the process of getting tattooed before, I was excited but also a little anxious.
Jackson was absolutely amazing, from consultation and design answering all of my questions and concerns right through to the finished product.
I cannot express enough how pleased I am with the work Jackson did. The sharpness and deep colour of the work, the location on my arm that we went back and forth on until finally getting it exactly how I imagined it. The shop was also impeccably clean and comfortable which created the perfect atmosphere to just relax and enjoy the process. Jackson is truly a master of his craft and I would recommend anyone looking for tattoo work to give Mercy Seat Tattoo a call.
