I would have given 0 stars if possible. Two weeks ago, I made an appointment for a hair cut as a gift for my daughter's birthday on February 21st. Less than one hour before her appointment, Ironside called her and said they were canceling her appointment. She practically begged them to take her in later in the day because it was her birthday and she was going out, etc. She was told nothing was available and was not offered any further options. I called and complained and was told that nothing could be done because a client had a "hair crisis". This "hair crisis" required a lengthy repair. I'm sure it was also going to much more profitable than my daughter's simple cut. What a horrible business. It's interesting to note that after my call, they called my daughter and offered to take later in the day. Thankfully, when they called, she was already sitting in a chair at another salon (thank you Extreme Ends) getting her cut and style.

I had booked an appointment for a haircut on my birthday two weeks in advance. It was on a Friday for 1:30pm. At 12:37pm I received a call telling me my appointment had to be canceled because an emergency color correction client came in. Why are you canceling the client that has an appointment? I explained that it is my birthday and I deliberately made the appointment for this day. The employee couldn't care less. I phoned Extreme Ends on 4th street and they got me in right away. Thanks Debbie! And to Iron side, shame on you.

The Ironside salon is so amazing!! I’ve been quite a few times for different services. The girls who work up front and bring you in for tans are amazing and I’ve gotten a haircut and emy is amazing at what she does and always makes the best conversation! I highly recommend this salon! Thanks girls 😊

I bought a haircare product for 47$ and went home used it - it smelled so bad and so strong the scent made me nauseous, it had to be washed out. The owner said they will not even exchange the product for me for something different. Not good service or good understanding. Sometimes you bite the cost of this as a business owner ! Not impressed.

As someone who has visited many salons over the years, I can confidently say that the service here at Ironside is some of the best I've experienced! Everyone was so kind and accommodating... I was blown away. I don't live in the Comox Valley anymore but I would drive 2.5 hours just to get services done here again! If you're in Comox/Courtenay and needing your lashes or brows done, this is the place to go. Thank you Ironside (and Heli!) for making my visit so wonderful 🙂

Emy I believe did a fabulous job of reviving my friend up nope. I hope she got commission off the product I got. Wonderful hair products. Great staff. Only regret I gave a larger tip.

Ive been going to Madison for eyelash extensions and absolutely love them! She has a very welcoming environment and plenty of talent. I highly recommend.
