I hosted my daughter’s bridal shower @ The Hive last weekend, and it was the best experience I’ve ever had with a venue. Dez & her team accommodated all of my requests/adjustments and stressors by being gracious & beyond helpful! The event exceeded all of our expectations in large part due to their warm & friendly attitude! We loved it & will definitely host future events here!

We hosted a staff event with The Creative Hive last night and couldn't be more pleased with how everything turned out. We worked with Dez, who was incredibly helpful, answering all of our questions and making sure everything ran seamlessly. The venue and decorations were absolutely stunning, and the table rentals from Bee Together were perfect for our needs. A special shout-out to Sean from Socials Events, who was not only friendly but also took care of everything we asked for. Thank you all for your hard work and for making the event a success—both in front and behind the scenes!

Signed a very happy team from Edmonton Landscape Center!

We rent it for hosting a monthly networking event. It's an amazing space and the people that run it are phenomenal. The rental space offers beautiful natural light during the day, unique decor and a really cool vibe. I've also rented it for photoshoots. Great space!

We hosted a three-part workshop series at The Creative Hive, totalling over 450 attendees. Working with Dez and Mike was a great experience. Their flexibility and management of the space really helped facilitate a successful event. The Creative Hive itself offered a fantastic amount of room and flexibility at an affordable price, which was very important for our non-profit. Our attendees commented on the appeal of the modern and industrial feel of the space, which we thought made the room much more comfortable, considering the venue’s high ceilings and open design. We would definitely recommend the Creative Hive as an event space and look forward to hosting more events there in the future!

I went to my first networking event here a few weeks back and the place is beautiful!!

The main area is this huge, open and bright industrial hosting space! Set up perfectly for events although I could see it making a cute place for a wedding reception if you're looking for that industrial look.

They also have separate areas like a cute board room, green screen room and individual work areas.

The owners were so lovely to talk to and I look forward to attending more events here in the future!

Wanted a good coffee. Not hot beverage like at timmies or Starbucks. Ordered a large dark roast, the Legend brewed coffee. Coffee not all that hot and was definitely acidic and meh. Young kid there, so not much reason to say much. But the kicker was the cost. 4.15 plus tip. Was hoping to be outstanding as it's on my way to work. Very disappointed and I don't review much. But for that kind of cost should make sure the coffee is fresh, hot and tasty. Just my 2 cents

A friend and I recently visited the new Square 1 coffee shop in the building. We noticed other customers looking around in the various rooms, including the space directly above the cafe. As this was our first visit, we looked around and went upstairs, realizing the space above was a private office. We went back downstairs and were confronted by an individual who stated that the room above was a private office in a condescending tone as if we should have known. We apologized for the mistake, and another customer spoke up, saying that it wasn't obvious the space was a private office. The individual then said there should have been a sign and left the cafe area. This whole experience left an extremely negative impression on us as my friend and I, who are visible minorities, were the only customers in the store that were spoken to. I cannot help but feel like our skin colour was a factor. However, I will assume that is not the case and give you constructive feedback. If the concept is to blend spaces and allow people to walk around, you should take additional steps to ensure private spaces are known, whether through communication, locks, or stanchions. If there should have been a sign to communicate that the space above is private, that should be a priority. Regarding the individual, they should be made aware of how they came across and review your company's mission and values, as there was no family, connection, or community in our interaction.
