Roisin was such an incredible host. She made us fabulous breakfasts each morning that were tailored to our dietary needs and even provided me a recipe for one of the amazing dishes. "The Cottage" had everything we could have asked for in a private house and was very tastefully decorated. The place was well stocked with all sorts of goodies including locally made teas, coffee, cream, milk, condiments, spices and more. The kitchen had everything you need to cook pretty much anything you could imagine. Her place was warm and welcoming. The perfect peaceful spot to retreat to after a long day of exploring magical Denman Island. There was both Netflix and a wide selection of dvds. Roisin also provided a great deal of local knowledge about places to check out, where we could eat locally and even the ferry schedule for our departure. We will definitely return to stay with her and will be recommending her to all of our friends and family!

What a great find. The little cottage is a delight, very comfortable and cozy, with everything you could possibly need. Perfectly located to explore the island. Ro is a super host and we felt so welcome. The breakfasts were delicious! We will definitely be returning.

Our family of 4 had a amazing time here. We spent 4 nights and each morning looked forward to our delicious breakfast that was left on our step. We could not of asked for anything more the cottage exceeded our expectations. We will be coming back again! Thanks Ro for all your hospitality and we are so glad to have met you.

Always a lovely stay at the cottage. This is our 3rd year to arrive on Dec 25 to spend the holidays with the grandparents. ||The cottage is the perfect size for 4 people to lounge around and sleep. ||We were delivered a warm breakfast every morning and visits from the cottage kitty daily. ||Thank you Ro for always making our stay so perfect ||||The Talbot’s 2018

My husband and I can't say enough good things about The Cottage. It was a dreamy delight to stay there: it was peaceful, private and squeaky clean. And the owner, a lovely energetic young woman has provided above and beyond what anyone could possibly want or need for their stay. We would stay there again in a heart beat. Thank you Ro!! 🙂

We were here to attend a family reunion. The Cottage provided a perfect place to be, the cottage itself is very well appointed, comfortable and a great place to relax. One aspect, being separate from the hosts, provided a real benefit as we came and left frequently. RO is an awesome host!

Luxury and comfort perfectly combined with quaint cottage coziness. Will definitely be returning. Steps away from forest path to pebbly beach or nature preserve trail. Inside the cottage feels like a warm hug. Everything was provided here that made our getaway special, even when it rained. Ro is a talented cook and conscientious host who was highly recommended to us by a family member who travels extensively.
