Rented out the studio space for a few hours to host my birthday party. All the girlies absolutely loved it! Had a Pilates instructor come to teach the class & we were able to bring in all our own equipment.

Vanessa (studio owner) was very helpful setting up lighting, audio & providing lots of communication leading up to the event.

Can’t wait to be back for a dance class soon!

Take.the.class. Just sign up. If you're on the fence, just do it. With no history of dancing, I signed up for a drop-in class 6 years ago. Immediately following that first class, I signed up to be in a show and it was the best decision I could have made. I ended up taking a break after having my 3rd child and now that I'm back, my only regret is not rejoining sooner. The community that exists at Studio XIV is unreal. You can show up as any body type or with any level of dance - the only requirement is that you're kind and you try your best. I couldn't be more grateful to Vanessa and her team for giving our community the absolute best place to meet people, create real friendships, and move our bodies!!

This dance studio is so welcoming. Last time I visited one of the girls and I connected about how showing up alone to classes like these can be scary but in the end it’s worth it. Plus you can drop in for any B1/beginner classes, and Vanessa makes it very fun and I always have a laugh when I’ve gone. Hope to go more!

I can't say enough good things about Studio XIV. I just came home after filming the Christmas show, if I could shout from the mountaintops, I would - but Google reviews will have to do!
I've danced with instructors Vanessa, Leanne, Shannon, & Sam. These women are inspiring, motivating and kind. You might think it would be difficult to be a beginner around such talented dancers but they are so supportive and welcoming. Feedback is always gentle and constructive. Vanessa has really fostered a community of dancers who welcome every newcomer with open arms, whether you've never danced in your life, or you just jumped off a stage. The instructors from Studio XIV know what it's like to nail the choreography and feel on top of the world, and they just want to share that feeling with others and help anyone to reach their dancing goals. I am a proud Studio XIV dancer, and I encourage anyone reading this to just try it once. Just once, and you'll be hooked.
The studio is clean and modern, with access to water refills, storage hooks and cubbies, and clean washrooms. But they've thought of everything, feminine hygiene products, clothes racks of cute merch, kneepads, fishnets, everything is available. The Studio XIV website is easy to navigate and intuitive to use. The parking lot is free and there are plenty of spaces available at any given time.
Like I said, I can't say enough good things, so just come dance with us already 🙂

Absolutely LOVE going to Studio XIV! My confidence level, body positivity and positive self talk has really boosted since starting here! The shows are SUPER fun and so are the drop in classes! If you haven’t trued a drop in class yet…. What are you waiting for?!
