Studio North Dance Academy is the most friendly, welcoming and warm environment for your child to learn dance. The teachers are all amazing and truly care about your child and their growth as a dancer. We couldn’t ask for a better studio for our girl to be apart of as she started off dancing with Jen Soo ( the owner of the studio ) before she turned 3 and she is now turning 12. She enjoys all of her classes such as Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, Tap and Musical Theatre . Studio North is where she can be her true self ❤️

Our family began our dance adventures with Jen Soo 13 years ago. Our two daughters have always loved attending their dance classes throughout the week. They have made life long friends and learned valuable lessons.
Starting in preschool with one small dance class each week. Now we have one daughter away pursuing a career in ballet and another attending several hours with her “dance family” each week. The teachers have all always been so encouraging and supportive. Jen extends the option of matching your child’s needs or wants with opportunities to perform or to attend extra workshops. Alternatively the studio allows you to take your time and choose more relaxed approach, but everyone is valued the same way. There are so many reasons why we love Studio North.

Our daughter has danced with Jen Soo (Studio North) for over 10 years. Even after we moved out of Campbell River, she has continued to make the trek to dance there. The talented teaching staff work hard to not only develop amazing dancers, but amazing humans…teaching the value of hard work, dedication, teamwork, kindness, leadership and just genuinely caring about their students.
Jen recognizes that some dancers strive for more than what a home studio can offer, and supports and encourages dancers to audition for pre-professional companies, specialized dance schools and summer intensives and facilitates unique solo work opportunities.
The dancers truly care about each other and are like one big family. They are supportive, kind and encouraging to one another, not just in dance but in all areas of their lives.

My daughter has been part of this studio for many years now and considers it her home away from home. Studio North is as fun and exciting place to dance, but also challenges the dancers and allows for so much growth. I absolutely recommend this studio for anyone interested in dance.

My daughter loves Studio North (and her mom does too). The studio offers many different classes weekly. I love that the students have opportunities to practice and work with different age groups at workshops and during Nutcracker practices. We have been with the studio for 5 years and look forward to more to come.

Studio North is a great studio for classical dance studies - Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Musical Theatre, Lyrical Jazz, and Modern. Kind, enthusiastic, and patient teachers! Kind and fun dancers.
