An absolutely beautiful studio and lovely staff that patiently guided our group in the Kitsuki workshop. What a wonderfully full encompassing session that started with a mindful meditative reset, then the physical breaking of the item followed by a harmonious, reflective and meditative unison of bringing the pieces back together. Thank you Tanya for your patience in my first experience with Kitsuki and for sharing impactful pieces of wisdom you have learned through the Kitsuki artform. I will definitely be back!

My sister and I took the Intro to Granny Squares course at Studio Mooi and had such an amazing experience! Tanya, the owner, has created a truly beautiful and supportive environment that makes you feel right at home. As a complete beginner in the crafting world (and a crochet newbie!), I felt welcomed and encouraged every step of the way. Not only did I learn technical skills, but I also felt like I became part of a lovely little community. Highly recommend Studio Mooi to anyone looking to try something new, creative, and fun!

I did the beginner Kintsugi class with Tanya and absolutely loved it. The environment was so welcoming, thoughtful, and Tanya herself was a lovely instructor. Felt less intimidating than other workshops I’ve been in and I appreciate how grounded and meaningful it felt overall. 🙂

I would give them 10 stars not just 5, we really need this kind of small workshops, when you get chance to figure out your artistic side in middle of our busy life, highly recommend

Had an amazing time at the intro to beading class! It was a fun and unique experience, the instructor was really helpful and the studio was very comfortable (and they gave us a sweet treat!) A good time, and made something really cool!

We had the BEST experience hosting my daughter’s 8th birthday party at Studio Mooi. She chose to do the doodle weaving craft and our host/craft leader Renée was super patient, fun, attentive and skilled.. kept our bustling group of little ones busy and entertained, and on schedule in time for cupcakes! No easy feat! The communications from staff were excellent from start to finish - super clear, helpful, upbeat and professional.

My daughter said it was the BEST birthday party she’d ever had, and she’s had some good ones!

I’ve also done a couple workshops myself there and had a blast - polymer clay earrings and gouache painting. Loved!

Will definitely be booking again - highly recommend.

I had my daughters 10th birthday at Studio Mooi and it could not have been easier. Literally a hands off birthday - I just brought the food and Chantal kept them entertained with their craft which took up the full hour before pizza and cake. The space is inspiring with projects from past classes. I definitely recommend and will also be looking into the adult classes they have available.
