My cat Jimmie is a real handful and totally freaks out when he has to go to the vet or to a groomer. In fact he's been red flagged that he must have a script to try and relax him before he goes. All the groomers that I have tried don't want him back. Ezra was my last hope and while she only managed to get a bit of grooming in, he at least did not attack her. So, going forward I will go back to Ezra, she seems to be able to handle him and perhaps the more he goes to get used to her, the more he will let her do. Thanks so much Ezra.

Can’t say enough good things about Ezra at Studio 79. We’ve followed Ezra from a few locations around Comox Valley for the excellent friendly service, outstanding “by donation” pawdicures, and the adorable post grooming pictures that they send us of my sweet wheaten Brutus. Ezra follows our grooming requests perfectly, is speedy and has easy online booking as well. I’ve never had a problem with any of our grooms over the last three years, and will continue to go to Studio 79 for all my wheaten grooming needs.

The first I took my little Jessa to see Ezra at Studio 79 was in her previous location, and I was as nervous as my little Jessa, whom I had just adopted. She was amazing with my Jessa, she calm very knowledgeable and professional. My little girl looked and felt amazing. The next time I went, I called out of the blue for a face trim and nail clip, she told me to come in after her last appointment, basically after hours and she was amazing, touched Jessa's grooming up while I waited, it was so perfect. Yesterday I took Jessa to her new location on North Island highway, such a convenient location for us and such a nice ambiance. I was her last appointment and asked if I could add some additional services to my order such ear cleaning and full groom and she was more then happy to accommodate me even if it meant going past her closing time, and I am so happy with the results but more importantly my little Jessa is so much more happier with her amazing haircut, etc. Thank you much Ezra for all you do!!!

I called around 10:30 in the morning and Ezra got me in the schedule as the last job of the day. When I showed up at 5 she was behind schedule but, stayed late to get it done. Really impressed and thought the price was super reasonable. Lucy dog is super happy and will sleep much better with the upcoming heat.

I have a very worried, neurotic little doggo who hates all things scary.. like being groomed. Ezra has such a calm and wonderful manner that my little nutcase was relaxed enough to get a proper, full groom done and he has never looked so good! He especially hates his nails being done but Ezra uses a fancy Dremel that can’t hurt him and doesn’t have the scary , loud CLICK that he hates so much.
I live in Calgary but I will be bringing my doggo to Studio 79 from now on.

Considering the state in which I picked up my Rough Collie yesterday shows that there is lacking knowledge in breed specific grooming, I was very unimpressed and will not be returning. His fur was cut way too short it and on top of that was very poorly done, calling it a hack job barely depicts what was done to my dog. Writing this review so that someone else does not make the same mistake that I did! Would give 0 stars if that was possible.

Ezra is amazing, I drive all the way from CR cause I trust her with my dog, not only does she do a wonderful job on her grooming but she’s kind and gentle to my girl!! Thank you Ezra for the care you have given all my dogs the last few years ❤️

Ezra is always helpful, clearly knows how to handle dogs, and is super patient. It's unfortunate that I'm almost always late. Bella says thank you for always keeping her nails pretty.
