Please note that JADE was NOT the stylist responsible for the service I'm writing this review about, and the salon is super nice trendy. I had chosen to not leave a review, but the emotional impact I have everytime I wash or have handle my brittle hair is leading me to share. My hair is naturally strong (latin american) plus hadn't had colour for 2.5 years, very healthy! I asked for grey blending, provided inspiration photos, mentioned that I wanted low maintainance results, and was told they could do it. That was not wat I got. My concerns started with the technique, looked like she was doing chunky highlights (the 2000's style), then with the fact that all my hair ended up with colour on... she reassured me she has 37 years of experience... Jade kept politely giving tips to the stylist, to put me under the heat. At the end of the excruciating 7hrs (Seriously!) The stylist started spraying temporary hair colour as she dried my hair, to mask the results!
I got half of my money back. But I'm left with costs of someone else having to fix this mess (there is no way I'd go back to the same person to have it fixed!) then hair repair products that are not cheap either... I'm just so sad. It will be another couple of years and a lot of $$ to reset.
