Customer Service staff are great at helping find items most of the time. Sometimes, because there are so many books in the store, some get misplaced and are hard to locate.
Sometimes it's hard to know which section a book is placed. Often I wish it was set up similar to a library, and have the Customer user terminals to help locate which section the book can be found.

I have been to several shows at the gallery and am always blown away by the artwork. Kris and Nate have made such a wonderful space with a lovely welcoming atmosphere. I have also participated in a group show at Staying Creative and it was an amazing experience. Definitely stop by if you are in the area!

This lovely Brentwood Bay gallery is run by the most amazing guys. Kris and Nate (both artists themselves) are devoted to providing a showing space for emerging artists and supporting their local creative community, and they do it with professionalism and passion in equal measures. I had the pleasure of taking part in a group show with them last fall. This afforded me the opportunity to meet other local artists and to show my work. Chester the gallery dog is the cherry on top! An adorable fellow who just makes this venue even more approachable than it already is. I really enjoyed chatting with Nate and Kris as well, and getting to know them a bit through the time my group show was running. I can’t recommend stopping in enough, whether to view the work, chat with the owners and other people in the community or give Chester a snuggle! If you’re an emerging artist, keep an eye on their Instagram/social media for calls for shows. They book up a bit in advance but are worth the wait.

This small gallery will blow you away. The way the space is curated is impressive for such a small space. The guest artists and the in-house artists are all talented and bring a unique eye to their artwork. This gallery is a fantastic contribution to the greater Victoria and local Brentwood bay are scenes. Worth the trip every time!

Kris and Nathan are amazing humans and Brentwood Bay is so lucky they choose to move out of downtown to our little Village. Our community is better for having a space like their gallery here and people like them running it!
I love that they offer classes for kids and teens and I cannot wait until my nieces are old enough to participate in their classes.

Staying Creative gallery is a beautiful, modern and inclusive space curated by 2 of the best dudes/artists you’ll ever meet. Do yourself a favour, make the trip out to Brentwood Bay and see for yourself! Special mention to their adorable pup, Chester, who only makes the visit more enjoyable.

A very cool creative space and gallery situated right in the heart of scenic Brentwood Bay on southern Vancouver Island. When visiting, you’ll find a rotation of diverse and beautiful works adorning their walls, periodic creative sessions open to public and informative chats with the owners themselves. Have really enjoyed stopping in here previously and look forward to doing so again.

Brilliant artists and captivating exhibitions! Their youth initiatives are amazing, my kid loved learning how to draw graffiti and felt really comfortable and accepted in their space in Brentwood Bay village. Definitely visit the gallery to see their current exhibition.
