Our group of four had rooms 2 and 4. Room 2 had two double beds and room 4 a twin and a double. The plumbing in room 2 was very poor, no water pressure so could not take shower at all. The water pressure in room 4 was okay but did vary during our one night stay. The property is pretty run down and the walls between rooms are thin and not particularly sound proof. But, the price is low so just manage expectations.

My husband and I stayed here for one night. Haines Junction is a village on the Alaska highway with views of mountains and situated in Kluane National Park. It was a perfect stopping point for the night. Our room was clean. The bed was on the firmer side. Not many plugs were avaiable. It was old yet adequate.

Room was better than we expected. Seams to be a older place, but the rooms a clean and well maintained. Bed was very comfortable. Staff very friendly and efficient. Was the quickest check in I have ever had.

Very friendly and accomodating staff. They walked us to the room and provided all needed explanations. Room was comfortable and included a mini kitchen with several appliances. Beds were fairly comfortable. Bathroom was clean and modest, however the shower faucet was very low, anyone 5 ft or shorter could use it comfortably but anyone taller will find it very uncomfortable to use.

We were looking for something reasonable in Haines Junction for a couple nights. We ended up booking two rooms at the Stardust Motel. The rooms are standard motel-type rooms and have good TV (wide channel selection), reasonable WIFI and were overall rather clean. One room had a separate kitchen with fridge, microwave, a table and some utensils. Check-in was very easy and staff was very friendly. ||||While one room had no discernible odour, the other had a noticeable, unpleasant smell (possibly some sort of cleaning agent, or just old carpet). We were able to manage, but noticed it every time we returned to the room. The walls are rather thin and you can hear your next door neighbour, but we werent too disturbed by it.||||Overall, it was a good stay for the two nights. The motel is about 1 kilometer out of town along Highway 1, but it is an easy walk (asphalt side walk) and the mountain view is rather nice.

The check in and check out process were conducted without human interaction. I never saw an employee. The motel is very old and run down. Very little sound proofing. Type written labels stuck to the walls with instructions and explaining what not to do. The labels were old and discolored and had obviously been stuck on decades ago. The grounds are not cared for and I actually drove by the hotel at first thinking it had been abandoned. The room did come with a coffee maker. I would probably not stay here again, I am sorry to say.

Kleines gemütliches Old School Motel zu einem super Preis. Zimmer war geräumig und sauber, roch zwar, wie von anderen auch schon erwähnt, ein bisschen doll nach Reinigungsmittel aber nach einer ordentlichen Lüftung war das dann auch okay, Liegt ein bisschen außerhalb von Haines Junction direkt am Alaska Highway. Der Ort ist aber fußläufig in 10 Minuten zu erreichen und von der Straße hat man auch nichts bemerkt, da es da kaum Verkehr gibt, vor allem Nachts war es absolut ruhig. Toll war auch die Aussicht mit Blick auf die gegenüberliegenden schneebedeckten Berge. Die Chefin Verena war sehr nett und hilfsbereit und das sogar auf deutsch. Und das Beste war, wir hatten das ganze Motel für uns alleine, Wir würden hier wieder übernachten.

Just passing through and wanted a quiet night away from the tent. Didn’t entirely go to plan.||The room is pretty comfy with great TV and powerful shower. WiFi seemed reasonably quick for the Yukon, but seemed to become intermittent - I suspect this is the provider. The room is plenty large enough with instructions, coffee machine, and fridge. The room itself could benefit from a plug-in air freshener but wasn’t unpleasant. The chap that helped us checkin, get the TV sorted, and unblock the loo, was nice and very helpful.||The motel is a 5 minute walk to town on highway 1. ||So the issue, which we should have expected, is the paper-thin walls. We could here our neighbour and his girlfriend til 1am and again in the morning. Even just talking they could be heard, which meant we had to use our headphones to try to dull the noise. Unfortunate.
