I recently had the most frustrating experience at Spotlight Hair Studio with Michaela. After spending six gruelling hours getting my hair braided and traveling over 3 hours just to get there, I was shocked to find that she wanted nearly $700 on what should have been a stunning look which was insane to me but I paid and just hours into my car ride home after the service, my hair turned into a tangled, knotted mess that felt absolutely disgusting. I tried everything to fix it, even going to another braider who revealed the truth: Michaela had completely botched the job! The hair was in all the wrong places, some braids were huge while others were tiny, and the type of hair used was improper. To top it off, when I asked for a refund or even a free service, I was flat-out refused. I had trusted Michaela because I had a good experience before, but this time was beyond unacceptable!

First time this salon and I had a worst haircut in years today. It seemed OK when I left the salon this afternoon. But when I came home, my kids pointed out that the back
of my head was all uneven and hair sticking out from every direction. My 10 years old daughter had to fix it up. Otherwise, I would have been a laughing stock! Very sad and frustrated.

I had an amazing experience with Fatima at the salon! She took the time to really understand what I wanted and gave me the perfect haircut. Not only is she incredibly skilled, but her attention to detail is impressive. The salon was clean and welcoming, and Fatima made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire appointment. I had to have surgery a week and a half ago and I am not able to shower to wash my hair for a few weeks. I am so thrilled that Spotlight was able to get me in the same day I called! I was so happy with the service right from the friendly phone call to the hairdresser that did my hair! She washed my hair, did an amazing scalp massage and she did a phenomenal job on my braids! 10/10 Michaela! I can’t wait till next week for my hair wash and braids again!! You are very talented Michaela! The other hairdresser that was there was extremely friendly and kind as well! The whole aura was perfect. Location is perfect, I highly recommend Spotlight hair studio! ⭐️ 💖
