Called to get a quote for a new sandwich board insert. The very disinterested gal on the phone quoted me $250 + for one single sided A frame insert, artwork not included as I have that part done. I confirmed the details as this is much more than I was expecting for an insert. I then asked why it was so expensive, as the last time I ordered one insert was $94. Let’s just say she didn’t appreciate the question. After her very confrontational, notably irritated response she told me she just works there and I can call the owner if I want.

I had previously used a company in Vancouver due to the fact you can submit orders directly online and receive within the week for $35 plus shipping. I decided I should check with a local business this go around as I like my money to stay in the community, and understand that can be a little more costly. Unfortunately I won’t be making that decision again. An unreasonable price with lackluster customer service is not what I’m after. This is my second disappointing experience with Speedpro and it seems, my last.

Speedpro's Tori and Stephanie recently helped us (Friends of West Kootenay Parks Society) develop no less than 14 large signs for a new interpretative trail at Cody Caves Provincial Parks. It was a complex job with a few twists, but they were simply terrific.....friendly, very professional, and they delivered a superb product right on time and on budget. In summary a big "shout out" for Speedpro Nelson. We'll be back.
