We ordered two salads and an order of wings for dinner. The salads were very disappointing, were missing advertised toppings like seeds, cheese, veggies, etc. My Mexican Salad only had jalapenos and tomatoes, that's it. The chicken was unspiced/no flavor and very small portion. Our salt and pepper wings had no flavor. Paid $60 for maybe $25 worth of food. Will not be eating there again as this was my third attempt, and I've complained each time.

Like most people my wife and I came here for the food. We found it to be very good. We ate in the lounge and found the server to be friendly and helpful. We had the Fritou chicken 🍗 for dinner and really enjoyed it. The lounge area was nice and clean. The washroom was clean also. Prices are reasonable. We definitely will come back and recommend coming here. I have no comment about the hotel part.

Always great dinner specials at noon. From chicken to Salisbury steaks,all day breakfasts,rib night Wednesday, fajitas Thursday night,great fish and chips and home made soups. Freindly,courteous staff. Always good food at a decent price. You just can't beat the selection, quality and prices at the Smoky Lake Inn. Daily noon specials Monday through Friday plus daily supper Specials 7 days a week. Check out their facebook or Instagram posts. And Great staff! A lot of great Entertaiment both indoors and weather permiting on the Great Outdoors Patio.
Open mike nights twice a month on thursday. Live bands.

We were there for a hockey tournament team dinner. i understand it was busy for the restaurant, a lot of kids and parents. multiple orders were missed and mistakes were made. I also understand. however, if you forgot something, please just be honest. please don't assume i ordered something else.
other than that, food was ok. the fried chicken and beef chili were very nice. salad was a bit salty.

Their breakfast is good for $6.99 on special during 9 till 11 but their liquor store workers are always trying to upsell on the booze and don't take the product back that you say no to so easily it's like a open negotiation the community it's self is very quiet and keeps to theirselfs so its not a great place to stop by and do anything unless you have plans.

I just stopped in for lunch, so I can't speak for the actual 'inn' portion. But I can tell you that the lunch I had was excellent! I got the western fried chicken and a carrot lava cake (with cream cheese filling). Both were absolutely delicious!! The chicken was crispy and juicy and the cake was moist and flavorful.

Also, though I didn't drink because I was driving, the very friendly waitor made a 'smoked old fashioned'. It was very cool to watch being made and it smelled amazing!
