Good Space for Studio Rentals

The Shadow box studio is incredibly spacious, providing more than enough room to set up multiple backdrops—definitely a plus for photographers working with different setups. I was able to easily arrange more than 3 backdrops without feeling cramped, which is a rare find!

The studio also has a washroom inside, which was really convenient for breaks or any personal needs during the shoot.

One thing to note is that the space is relatively minimal in terms of decoration or setup. It's essentially a blank canvas, so you'll need to bring your own studio lighting, props, and backdrops. If you're looking for a place that provides those extras, this might not be the ideal option. However, if you have your own equipment, this space offers excellent flexibility and ample room to create your desired setups.

Overall, a great option if you're looking for a large, versatile space to bring your own creative vision to life!

Such a great to studio with big space and furniture as props. Client had fun and was able to accommodate their families for their surprise proposal. Will definitely rent again for future shoots.

Amazing experience at Shadow Box Studios! I am a creative director and have been at the studio before for a couple photoshoots also as a professional model. The space is gorgeous, great natural lighting and backgrounds, and loved being at the studio for my recent project. Will be back very soon!!

We booked this event studio for my daughter's baby shower. The room was clean and spacious. There was plenty of room for my 30 guests and easily would hold more. The decor was beautiful. The manager responded to all my messages quickly. Would rent this space again. Thank you so much.

We booked the studio for work photos, booking was fast and simple. Studio was a decent size even for a large group. I love that we had privacy and were able to be comfortable.

Epic. Epic. Epic.
Personable, talented, artistic, patient, went ABOVE AND BEYOND for our engagement.
I was a model for many years, and have worked with many photographers: the best ones are those who can make you feel relaxed and laugh. Out of hundreds, I would say he is top 3 of my best ever photographers (some of which are high priced "name brand" photographers).

He was able to get candids, which is what my fiance really wanted, as well as balanced my need to get some poses. He was just so excited for us, and genuinely sweet. When we needed him to be a fly on the wall, he was. When we needed guidance and poses, he had many in his pocket for us to try. Plus the photos are INCREDIBLE.

He was affordable, flexible, and stayed far beyong what we paid him for. He also was kind enough to include more edited photos than promised, because he didn't want our night tainted by CRAZY PEOPLE (yes you, Trish).

Fontaine was the best, he made out engagement fantastic despite Trish (feel free to read her FALSE review on this page) being the WORST setup person EVER. I am hugely bothered as a small business owner that someone would post a false review to spite such a wonderful and kind person. If you are a business owner, please do not follow in these footsteps: instead, be like Fontaine!

He kept us safe from Crazy Trish, came after the photography was done to help us call the police on her. He was calm, patient, and kind under pressure (despite iminent threats from Crazy Trish).

The worse she got, she more impressive Fontaine got. Well done. I've tried to report her comment, since she NEVER EMPLOYED HIM and was EMPLOYED BY US. (Crazy woman, Bougie Events YEG IS AWFUL).

Fontaine and Shadow Box Studio werte fantastic, I cannot reccomend them highly enough.

Thanks for saving my Big Day, Fontaine.

I had the pleasure of using this studio yesterday. There’s so many cute options here, tons of options for nice headshots, and group shots. Lots of space! And they have a continuous light to use as well which was perfect. I will definitely be back. 🙂
