I was at schells market today and couldn't believe that almost everything I went in for was well past it's due date! Wtf, not to mention the things that weren't like Tim's coffee pods where 9 dollars more expensive than the pop in in odessa, I'm all for shopping local in these times but this place is ridiculous! Do better ffs

A terrific little hometown grocery. The staff here are always excellent with us treating everyone with a friendly manor. Their meats are always fresh and they have a terrific selection. When your looking for a bit of hometown flavour stop in and check it out. You won't be disappointed

Great little grocery store that has surprisingly many specialty items. Like sugar free ketchup, jams. Good selection of fresh produce , some bakery. And fresh flowers💐lovely stop.

As we woke up this morning (March 17, 2024) to family members who are having horrible stomach issues and are severely ill, we looked back on our dinner from the night before. It turns out Schell’s sold us a cream based salad dressing with an expiry date from October 2023, near 6 months ago. Come to find out that the shelves at this store are loaded with expired goods. I don’t typically buy there as they are usually 50-60% more expensive for the same items available at a “normal” grocery store, but in Bath it’s the only option for last-minute purchases. Well, never again Schell’s. Not if you’re going to have no consideration for the local community that supports your business.

Romaine Lettuce with brown sludge resting in the bottom of the bag, brown wilted leaves and an employee had the audacity to say “It’s red tagged and marked down.”

You cannot sell rotten produce! The owner obviously has no care for standards because I’ve also come across many expired products on shelves and we aren’t talking a few days, we are talking months.

Take the drive into Amherstview, you’ll get better products at much more reasonable prices.

Most overpriced "grocery store" I have ever been in. $12 for a case of 12 ginger ale, 5.99 for a case of water. I'll drive the extra 10 minutes and find stuff half the price
