Unfortunately I was not impressed at all. She was arrogant, suspicious and wasn't understanding of my needs at all. If you want someone who helps and explains or cares DO NOT go there.

I was close to noon under a deadline and she claimed she had to go for lunch. Then she walked away quite arrogantly and talked down to me the whole time.

It was also like she didn't understand what I wanted nor did she try to understand.

Rude awakening to those vulnerable or in need of kindness. She is not it.

Rude and uncaring. Legal matters are stressful enough, no reason to add rudeness to the mix. Never again.
I am adding to the critique which I posted above after reading Miss Rutherford's response:
Sadly Miss Rutherford is unable to handle criticism. Her level of professionalism is certainly in question after using my first name in her comment. This is a childish attempt to identify me, which is not only unprofessional, it's border line unethical.
I double down on my initial comment after reading her response and seeing my name posted. Would you trust a notary who is in a position of trust when she publicly discloses a client's information?!
Shame on you Ms Rutherford.

I am buying my first place with a fast possessions date and was looking for a notary. I was suggested here but when I phoned I was met with a very rude receptionist who was condescending. I felt stupid for not knowing some of the terms and flat out told me there was not enough time am they can’t help me. All other places I phoned after where apologetic for being overly busy and offered other places I should phone. I learnt later that everyone’s closing their purchases on the same day and it’s extremely busy. This receptionist could have handled this conversation so much better and calmer.
