A perfect local pub. Nothing special about the decor, but the service was friendly. I had a personal pizza. I don't eat pizza often, but I loved this pizza. SL had the burger, she said it had a good char, but it was a bit dry. Since we now live nearby, I'm know we will go back.

Best deep fried pickles I have ever had! Super friendly staff and they gave me a blanket to keep me warm. Really nice spot to stop!

Service was spectacular but the food was even better. Sooo much food. Steak cooked to perfection, our son in law couldn't finish his meatloaf...it was too huge. Complimentary cake for the birthday boy.
Definitely will be back.

We stopped in here for lunch at Christmas time as we heard it was good. When we arrived just after noon the wait staff were discussing their shifts and continued to do so while we sat and waited for service. We ordered fish and chips and a chicken burger with fries. Fish fillet was very thin and fries were way overcooked and hard. The burger was fine. This place was not very Covid friendly as tables were too close together with no barriers. Also couples came in at separate times and sat together while restrictions are on over the holiday season. Don't think we will go back.

I went here with the family for Father's Day.

It was extremely full!

There is live music here every Sunday, any musicians can apply to join and win some prize (A guitar? Probably a new contest now.) ?
The music was quite loud, but they did turn it down which was nice.

Seemed pretty family friendly.
The food was decent.
The staff were friendly & quick to get the order & bring the food.

Normally, Roy's Town pub is a fav of mine, but today they screwed up. I ordered a special full rack of baby back ribs for $18. When it arrived, the rib rack was gigantic. I bit into the ribs with high hopes, only to be disappointed by leftover ribs that were barely rewarmed. Obviously, they were yesterday's (last week's?) leftovers that were only slightly rewarmed, with a splash of fresh bbq sauce. Tough and chewy. I'd eaten almost a third of the rack before the server came by to see how everything was. I explained the ribs were cold and tough, and she promised to give the feedback to the kitchen crew. There was no apology, and no adjustment to the bill, no offer to warm them up.
Roy's Town, you need to do better. Much better.
