I've been recording my albums at River 16 since I was 10 years old, I'm 21 now and I've always been happy with the results with Steve and Peter the engineers and with the very professional, calm, friendly, supportive and highly competent way they work with me for many long hours in the studio. The prices are also very competitive, you don't feel gouged. Thanks everyone at the 16!

Awesome studio to go record a song or an entire album! Very comfortable, and relaxed atmosphere. Instruments, and gear there are excellent, and sound great. The rates are very reasonable, and the mixing/mastering are all done in house. The audio engineer, Steve, and owner, Rob are very kind, and professional. Overall, very happy with the experience, and final product. Our band, Posture, and I are looking forward to recording again there soon!

I was looking for a studio to record some clips for an audio book project. I spoke to the owner Rob and his warmth and willingness to help were evident over the phone. When I went into the studio, I was not disappointed! Both Rob and Steve the engineer were incredibly helpful in producing a great quality recording. The facility is great and they seem to have excellent, well-maintained equipment. The best part was I was a bit congested from a recent cold and they made me no less than 10 cups of hot tea/water and honey! Overall, it was an outstanding experience. I would use River 16 again and highly recommend.

Great studio. Superb sounding space. Knowledgeable team. You'll get a great sound here. And it's locally owned by friendly, passionate people so it's a location worth supporting for sure. I've rehearsed here, recorded here, and always left happy. Looking forward to my next jam at River 16.

Splendid recording studio on speers road owned by the well known Rob Lackie and formally opened by the Mayor Rob Burton back in Apr 25 2009. Well equipped and wonderful acoustics.Ample parking , spacious interiors and frequented over the years by musicians amateur and well established. More importantly Rob's a great guy !

A professional recording studio with very experienced engineers and staff. Rob Lackie has been in all phases of the music industry for over 40 years. If are looking for a fun recording session or a professional recording sessions then this is the best place to go.

Lakeshore 6 just finished getting 10 songs in the can. Thanks Rob for providing a great venue for an up and coming band. Steve Kirstein made the process seamless and very professional. Not to mention he made a pretty mediocre bass player sound absolutely amazing! Thanks guys!
