Amanda began by doing a site visit where she took the time to understand how we needed the bathrooms to function for our family and what design elements were most important to us. From there, Amanda created several different design options for us to view. Seeing the 3D design renderings helped us visualize what the final results would realistically look like in our space. Not only did she help us choose amazing products and finishes, but she also designed bathrooms that maximized our limited space and provided creative and functional storage solutions, all while working within our budget. Amanda listened to us and the designs that she came up with were both beautiful and practical for our family. Additionally, Amanda took the stress out of having to visit multiple showrooms and source materials by doing all of the legwork for us and compiling a selection of materials for us to view in her design studio. Everything she selected was chosen with design, function, and budget in mind.

Amanda drew up the detailed construction drawings for our builder to work from and provided us with a detailed portfolio outlining every product, fixture, and colour we had selected. Her design package became an invaluable reference tool for our builder and every trade involved in the renovation.

Throughout the entire process Amanda was easy to communicate with and worked seamlessly with our builder to address any issues that arose. In short, Amanda is a very talented designer with a wonderful design aesthetic and is a great listener with a positive demeanour. At the same time, she is hard working, organized and very efficient. It was a truly pleasure working with her, and we would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone undertaking a renovation project.

We worked with Amanda on the design of our kitchen remodel which is nearing completion; it is beautiful and functional! Below is part of the long list of great qualities that make Amanda an outstanding designer:
• Visionary: Amanda has the ability to walk into a space and see how it can be enhanced; it’s like she can see through walls to find the potential of a space.
• Creative: Amanda found solutions for our odd-shaped, small kitchen to deliver the elements that we most wanted in our new kitchen. Her first presentation of the two design options were so creative, so out-of-the box, they left us speechless.

She delivered a beautiful, timeless design with enhanced functionality. As we worked through the final design with her, she incorporated our feedback, and welcomed our collaboration to deliver the final product that would work for us.
• Patient: There was much back and forth, tweaking of designs, talking through all options and details, and Amanda stuck with us patiently throughout it all. There were some design elements that we were attached to, that Amanda knew wouldn’t look the best. She didn’t force her vision on us, she just waited for us to catch up to her vision. We’re so glad we did!
• Gentle, Pragmatic Guidance: Amanda guided us gently away from ideas we had that wouldn’t work. She listened to our ideas and explained the implications and outcomes. She was pragmatic and never forced her ideas or judged our ideas.
• Top Notch Design: Everything from the original design ideas to the final construction plans were top notch. In fact, both our GC and our cabinet maker, who are both in high demand, said they agreed to take on our project because the final construction drawings and plans were so good. Both of them said the plans were the best they’ve ever worked with.
• Responsive: Throughout the design phase Amanda quickly responded to our questions and moved the design phase forward. There were a few design details that didn’t get translated onto the final construction drawings. Amanda quickly responded to our texts confirming non-standard cabinet depths and our team had the answers they needed to move forward.
• Cheerful and Kind: Amanda is a pleasure to work with. We were always greeted with a smile, and were treated kindly and respectfully.

We would definitely work with Amanda again and recommend her without hesitation!
