Stopped in our way through for breakfast. The slow cooked oats were delicious! Maybe the best I’ve ever had. Would definitely stop in when I’m back that way.

Went in to check it out, the baking all looked so good. I read the board and saw a snack that was decently priced, however when I ordered some I was then made aware that the price was advertised wrong, it was double what I was expecting. And at that price I expected something amazing but was completely disappointed to find it was barely average. I'm all for supporting small businesses, but to not even have the right price shown, and then to be told the price on the board was actually for a smaller version, yet my muffin wasn't even a large one, it would be considered an average size was really disappointing. And I understand that because it's a small town the prices will be higher, but to charge $14 for FOUR muffins is absolutely insane! I can get a dozen huge muffins that taste really good from Costco at that price. And Costco muffins taste better. And it's not just the muffins, one tiny slice of cheesecake is almost 7 bucks without tax
I'm just quite disappointed, I kept hearing such good things, but this place is too expensive for someone who is living on a fixed income. I was actually going to go back and order some cheesecake and soup when I got paid, but because of the prices and the less than average flavour I won't be going back.

Have gone back 3 times for the cinnamon buns this week while visiting in area. Orange cranberry scone also excellent. Had the soup of the day - creamy tomato dill - excellent - highly recommend. Can eat in or take out.. Friendly staff

The nanaimo cheesecake was delicious! Their straight espresso shot is quite strong and pairs well with the cheesecake. I wish I had a picture of the cake because it was just beautiful.

I asked if they had laites and the girl said yes but I got a watered down coffee with a lot of cold milk dumped into the cup...a laite is a shot of espresso with steamed milk. It's perfectly okay to say you don't have something...disappointed!
