Profits before quality patient care. They are severely understaffed. The building is poorly kept with mouse traps in the rooms. The poor girls that work here have to look after the patients, cook and clean. With two girls per a wing of elderly patients there is no way to perform their jobs properly. Even worse, at night there are only two staff members to look after the entire building. The only people benefitting from this tragedy are the greedy owners of Points West. Only place your loved ones here if you want them spend the rest of their lives in a dirty room with minimal care.

Helping someone move, we found mice poop, either cat or mouse pee, mouse traps, a suite that was not deep cleaned likely since our friends moved in. They were told the Friday before a long weekend that they were moving the following Wednesday to separate facilities and we have yet to find out who made the decision or why. We haven’t been able to reach anyone in this facility to speak with since then, more than a week later. The manager has been unavailable at every attempt, has not returned calls and is in meetings when we ask at the front desk. I am absolutely shocked that they let people live like this. Health issues are already enough of a concern for the elderly, never mind being exposed to what we’ve seen in their suite. It was disturbing and unacceptable.
