Having just written my second book, I reflect back to my experience writing my first book. Wanting to 'save on budget' my co-author and I decided on a self-publish option in the US. Many, many months later, our first draft was ready for review. We scanned intensely for edits and grammatical mistakes. It was finally complete, and we went for our launch. A week later, after receiving his copy ordered, a close friend and client highlights a grammar and spelling mistake in the first paragraph, chapter one. In the first paragraph!!
