I tried the lavender flavor and my friend had hazelnut with cocoa. Worth going, we loved every sip! The ambience was so nice, with beautiful drawings on the wall, and I even noticed a little coffee plant which was such a sweet touch. The lady who made our drinks was so kind, and everything was clean, neat, quiet, and warm. A really lovely experience ✨✨✨✨✨✨

Visited Open Studio Art Café and had an amazing experience!
The artistic vibe was truly inspiring — I absolutely loved the paintings and overall atmosphere.
Big shoutout to Tyler for the warm welcome and great conversation!

My partner and I enjoyed a lovely coffee break — she had a classic warm coffee, and I went with a cold Americano latte (pretty sure that’s what it was) — both were excellent.
A perfect blend of art, coffee, and good company.
Highly recommend checking it out if you’re into good coffee and creative spaces! 🎨☕

One of the problems with Pickering. Not enough OpoenStudio like cafés. However many, commercial cafés, too many to count. OpenStudio is a retreat, a getaway with a simple home made ambiance you do not see in commercial cafés, located down by the lake.

Prices are comparable, food and beverages very good. Staff, nice to chat with. And lots of art.

We decided to take a mid-day pause at the Art Cafe, relishing the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors on their open patio. Situated within a short stroll from the waterfront, this idyllic spot immediately caught our attention. Upon stepping inside, a warm and welcoming staff extended their greetings.

It was a hot day, so I decided to give their iced coffee a shot, given the limited selection available. While it didn't exactly match my flavor preferences, my partner's choice of iced tea was a more gratifying selection, even though the supply ran short and the cup wasn't entirely filled. The staff, however, were gracious in their apology for the inconvenience.

This venue plays host to a variety of events, making it advisable to peruse their website for activities that might pique your interest.

It's also worth noting that the parking here is paid-only and can be limited depending on day and time.

First time visiting the OpenStudio Art Cafe. Hip, trendy Cafe with various pieces of paintings on the wall.
Welcome greeting and friendly patrons both inside and out. Ordered the peach iced tea. There wasn't enough for a full cup, which was slightly disappointing however it tasted great and I enjoyed the fact that it appeared unsweetened as I don't put sugar in teas and coffees.
Great views and patio. Multiple menu options, hot, cold beverages, snacks and sandwiches.

Such a cute cafe! Their drink menu is quite comprehensive, and they also serve food. When we visited on a Sunday afternoon, there was a band playing just outside the cafe, and people were sitting listening while enjoying a drink.
