I've been needing a haircut but putting it off because I haven't had great experiences in salons. I decided to book in with Liv at Oddities and it was the best decision I've ever made for my hair! My hair was below my shoulders and very dead, I came in hating my hair but still anxious about going short. Liv took the time to listen and understand what I wanted, even though I wasn't even sure what I wanted lol! She did a longer style of an inverted bob and completely blew me away. I have literally never liked a shorter haircut before today. Liv was also very honest and genuine and not at all pushy! She's clearly very educated and good at what she does and truly cares about her clients. I will be returning in a couple of weeks for a balayage - I'm so excited I finally found a stylist I trust and will be returning to. 🫶
Edit to add that I came back for highlights and once again I'm beyond happy with the results. It was very affordable as well - $57.75 for the cut and $210.00 for the highlights, taxes included.

What a breath of fresh air this place is!

I am so happy I found this hair place. To be honest, I've spent the past few years just cutting my own hair because I cannot stand the vibe of traditional hair salons. I don't relate to the women there and the vibe always feels a bit pretentious.

Oddities is a different place altogether. It's unique and Emma, who did my hair, did such a great job. She was patient and asked me every step of the way if it was the length I wanted and refined it if I asked I wanted it a little shorter with no issue. We had a good conversation and I felt comfortable the whole time.

I usually leave salons feeling a little disappointed, out of a significant amount of money (because most places charge way too much), and frustrated because the process took way too long. With Emma at Oddities I was in and out within an hour, left completely satisfied and really happy about my new hair, and the cost was very reasonable even with a tip!

So happy to find this place and I will definitely be back for future hair cuts.
