Nice little museum with a lot of interesting pieces on display. Fairly small, so don’t more than a half hour to an hour to take it in. Also a craft shop in the building with lots of local crafts for sale. Don’t miss the upstairs part of the museum.

Fantastic place to find Inuit arts and crafts. Free entry. Take shoes off to keep the mud out. It would be a smart move to bring your own house slippers for a comfortable time. New devolution table upstairs!

Tickets aren’t needed, the museum is free. There’s also a section that sells local Inuit art. The museum didn’t have much, apparently one exhibit room was empty and I found I learned more about Iqaluit and Nunavut in general at the visitor’s centre next door. Also they closed early and refused to reopen even briefly when we told them we were going to buy a specific art piece, which was odd.

Such a lovely museum with a small gift shop. It is a very nice, clean and educational place. It’s free to enter. As of now, you have to wear a mask in order to come in. Also you have to take your shoes off.
