I was found in medical distress laying on the highway at 230 in the morning. One of the great citizens of thesselon saw me , stopped to help and called 911. 2 fantastic paramedics came , took me to the hospital where some amazing nurses and a doctor took care of me. I thought at one point I may die on the side of the highway 1000 km away from home. I can't thank you all enough for helping me. I wish I knew all of your names, my heros . The nurses, doctor, the police officer, the gentleman that first stopped, and the 2 other citizens that stopped and took my pulse. It scares me to think what may have happened without you. I hope to return to thesselon one day to thank you all in person. Thank you and I hope you know how much I appreciate you, your skills and talents ❤️ . Jason

To the community of Thessalon. I wanted too share something. My health in the last 4 years has gone drastically down hill, which is not anyone's fault. I have no money l get 1000 a month to live on. My ex husband recently had to start helping me again physically. I have lived here for 8 years and asked nothing, until April of this year, when I had to start wearing this catheter full time. Anyone who has had 2 live with one knows that we would give our right arm two urinate on our own. So a couple of months ago I asked my home care nurse about stabilizers bc the weight of the catheter bag gets heavy especially at night. Well no problem she got me some. But when I go to the Thessalon Hospital they give me a hard time everytime, I go there. They say I have too get my home care nurse to get them for me so I asked again. The hospital has refused to give me any and I was told today to start buying them.....What does a women like myself do. I have no money, I'm unable to work and I need these stabilizers. This community has shuned me since I moved here. It's not my fault that I require help. WHY does the Nurses at the hospital have a right to refuse me 4 stabilizers a month? Just wanted the community to know that if you get on the wrong side of the Town. You are in trouble. I just recently lost my house, everything! Except my stationary bike and it's two hard to ride without this tool.
How can they refuse me a little "Comfort". Heather

I was seen immediately and was greeted by friendly staff. They made me feel very comfortable and at ease while going through the necessary procedures.

Great caring, friendly staff. It was good to know my mother had such caring people looking after her. All the doctors have been very easy to talk to and caring. Lots of parking. The hospital food even looked good.
