I got a "leave feedback " after ordering, so I did. The response was to cut down another company and try to justify a family photo printed on the same size paper as the school photo costing 3× the amount, and the amount of competitors.
If you get family photos done, be warned that you will more than likely only have a white background option. When our photos were ready, only two or three out of 10+ had the ability to have a backdrop, and the only one that we ordered with one came home today with windows showing on the floor. 🙄
The editing, and the ordering time is also extremely poor.

I'm sure more attempts at justification will ensue in the reply.

I'm taking it that we are stuck with this wonky photo? Or are you going to replace it with the one that was ordered?

Thank you, yes I would like it reprinted as it was in this preview 🙂 without the watermarks. I did contact customer service, but it seems you guys respond to Google reviews much faster than customers directly. My husband has also been trying to call you for ten minutes and keeps being put on hold.

Mountain West has excellent quality and is easy to order online. They were super helpful in finding my son's photo even though it was from last school year. He graduated in June and never game me his proof, then I saw it and loved it and I ordered it almost a year later! Excellent customer service too.

I ordered my son's graduation photo and forgot to select the touch up for a couple zits. I called and Arti was so helpful. She was able to get the retouch done and sent to me same day! Excellent customer service!

I purchased the Graduation package with them, however at the time of booking they only listed the price for the sitting fee and that it included "18-24 poses through the three different stations" but they failed to mention that if the students wanted any of these photos from the stations, there was an additional cost (and how much) to get those. Those were hidden fees and that's my issue. It was not mentioned anywhere.

But beyond that hidden practices, their customer service is very very poor. Practically ignoring their customers and just going after the sale. When they emailed me to ask which final images we'd order, I explained the above as why we were not ordering. They refused to accept that they did not disclose all information in the sign-up sheet (when a simple mention would have helped many parents plan their budget). They forwarded my complaint to their regional manager who instead of learning from my feedback kept doubling down on what was included but not what they chose to omit.

I explained once again why I was dissatisfied but she chose to ignore my email yet a few times afterwards I received their sales emails urging us to order. Then the same lady calls me asking again for my business and I repeat why I'm not placing my order and explain once again why, and instead of listening she tries to cut me off just to start texting me later with the same nonsense of what's included but failing again to understand that they are building a business on hidden fees. I had to block her because she kept spamming me instead of trying to understand my point as a customer.
I do not recommend this business. Beware of their hidden fees and their lack of customer service.

I have to say I am super impressed. I ordered photos of my children and knew they would be mailed out. The Canada strike has prevented this and so I figured I would not receive them until Jan or so. I received an email that Mountainwest is paying for a courier to have our photos sent to the school in time for Christmas! Above and beyond I say!

Since Grade 1 and now in Grade 2, my son has had his school photos taken by Mountain West Studios, and it has always been a pleasant experience. Their team is friendly and responsive, making it easy to inquire about retakes or ask questions. The quality of the photos has always been great, and I truly appreciate their excellent customer service. It’s been a pleasure working with them each time!
