We booked a studio at Millworks to take our wedding photos and do a first look the day of our wedding (booked approx 8 months before the date). Booking online was easy and the team we worked with during booking and that we communicated with up to the day was very responsive and knew it was a wedding and confirmed everything. The space was very beautiful and we captured some great photos! Can't wait to see them all!

A few items that came up:
- Parking was difficult for the party bus in the area
- weekend was very busy in the studio/area, lots of people coming in and out
- entrance was hard to find at the front for some
- timing: make sure you book the hour before and after your requested time as others use the space. If you are early you will have to wait.
- Our wedding was in November and we were not told that the studio space would be decorated for Christmas. We were quite shocked to see it decorated and asked if we could move the items. There was push back from the person working, saying it was not to be moved and it is part of their Christmas time set up and she wanted to call someone to check. We only had the space for a short amount of time and needed to start taking photos right away and we did not want Christmas items in our wedding photos. We promised to put everything back in its place if we moved it. We were able to move everything and put it back but there was a lot of items. So make sure you check if you want to take event/normal photos around a holiday!

Rented the space to do a 3 day client content shoot. They were amazing to work with, incredibly accommodating. Given the large space and variety of rooms we were able to get a ton of content in a multitude of settings, both product & lifestyle, we were also able to accommodate a large cast comfortably given the large space. Not only is the space stunning but the staff was incredibly flexible and helpful.

Not only is the space is super cool (expansive, bright and historic) but Danielle is such a delight to work with. Specifically for us and our needs during the holiday season, Millworks has the loveliest rooms for you to choose from - each with beautifully staged furniture and seasonal décor. Also the main contact, Danielle, was amazing to work with. She provided exceptional customer service, was able to answer all of our questions and easily work with us despite some last minute changes on our end. We highly recommend Millworks to anyone, and look forward to returning in the future.

Millworks Creative is a dream of a space to work from! I rent the community space for a very low monthly cost and sitting on conference calls with a beautiful and artsy landscape behind you sparks some great conversations! The space is quiet and Danielle is extremely flexible and generous to make sure renters are happy. It's nice to work with like-minded people, have a quick chat, drink some coffee and then get back to it. Lovely large space full of life and art!

Experiencing a photo shoot at Millworks is something incredible. The old, vintage, look makes any subject look outstanding.
