I have been to this studio several times now for tattoos and the experience has always been positive! The staff are very kind and professional. The studio is clean and very nice! I have especially appreciated meeting with Jax! I got a very special memorial tattoo for my brother and she really helped me plan it out. I was so, SO happy with her design and the colour and line work was outstanding!! I just recently got a second tattoo from her and I’ll definitely be coming back for more appointments!

I brought my 8 year old daughter in for her second lobe ear piercing. We were giving a rave recommendation to go see Cal and we are so thankful we did! Cal was such a great vibe, she knew just the right words to say to make my daughter feel comfortable even though she was nervous. She did a great job explaining on an 8 year old level everything she was doing, we even left after our appointment still chuckling at the bits of humor she used (you can pick your boogers but don't pick your new piercing lol). Cal was very precise and didn't hesitate to take her time to mark an exact even spot for the piercing. I also appreciated that she took the time to make sure everything she did was with the consent of my daughter, waiting always until she was ready. Cal demonstrated great patience, a friendly and kind demeanor and well as precise and sterile technique. Though the cost is higher then some other places I would not ever hesitate to see Cal again, it was certainly worth it!

We are now nearing 1 month since the piercing and it has healed so well without any discomfort or problem!

I recently got a new nostril piercing here and it went really well. It didn’t hurt too much when the needle was going in and afterwards it didn’t hurt at all (I’ve had my other one pierced too, and this one was definitely less painful). It was my second time with Mike piercing me and he’s very professional and careful. The place is very clean and they have a great selection of fine jewelry from BVLA and Alchemy.

I’ve also had a couple of large tattoos done here (my calves). The artist is no longer there, but if her skill level is what can be expected there, I’d be comfortable getting tattooed there again.

Got my vertical labrets done here, and it was overall an amazing experience. The jewelry is high quality whilst remaining at a fair price, and Meghan was absolutely wonderful! She was super sweet and answered all my questions, whilst making the whole piercing process less scary lol. I'm very happy with my piercings and will definitely be coming again.

I’ve been getting pierced at and buying jewelry from Memento Mori for a few years now, and honestly, I don’t go anywhere else. There’s never been a need or a desire to.

The level of service that I receive there has always been top notch, and I always feel welcomed when I walk through the doors. As a Black person, it can be difficult to find businesses that make you feel like you’re safe, but I’ve always felt safe at Memento Mori. I always feel respected.

Over the past year or so, I've been working with Caleigh (Cal) on my face setup and my ear jewelry updates. Cal is always so friendly and happy to offer advice on what kinds of jewelry to get and what kinds of piercings would work well for me (when advice is requested). I'm so impressed by her attention to detail, her customer service, and her eye for colour and style.

Sometimes, when I visit Memento Mori, I don't really know exactly which piercings I want but I have a general idea of the kind of aesthetic that I’m going for. Cal is always excited to collaborate with me on piercing projects, and I deeply value the wealth of knowledge and experience that she brings to the table.

I recently purchased a custom BVLA philtrum piece through Cal. We spent a lot of time talking about what stones I wanted, what size I wanted, and which piece I wanted. Even though investing in a custom piece of jewelry can be a stressful process, that wasn’t my experience. The size that Cal recommended was perfect for my face and sits perfectly in my philtrum. I knew that I wanted mystic topaz as the central stone, but I didn’t know what would go well with it. So I asked Cal. Cal recommended the aquamarine, and wow. It’s so beautiful.

I’m grateful that I have the opportunity to be pierced by and to collaborate with such a kind, detail-oriented, knowledgeable, skilled, and talented piercer. One who is both professional in her conduct and willing to laugh with you too.

I’m looking forward to my next jewelry consultation and my next piercing with Cal. I’m certain that it will be a wonderful experience.
