"A Hidden Gem Worth Visiting!"

Lu’s Lounge and Restaurant is absolutely fantastic! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is warm, stylish, and welcoming — perfect for both a casual night out or a special occasion. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, making you feel right at home.

The food is the real star here — every dish is packed with flavor, beautifully presented, and cooked to perfection. Whether it’s their appetizers, mains, or desserts, you can taste the quality and care that goes into everything.

I went on Google review. It said they had the best wings and the best burgers
when I went there. I was totally stunned by the appearance hospitality. The decor absolutely great.
The wings were absolutely fantastic & the lu”S burger was beyond my expectations
I was lucky enough to speak to the owners Gerald & Doreen
Very nice couple Home Rents of Newfoundland. I wish him the very best at the establishment. I will definitely be going there again actually tomorrow night. lol
Oh, and by the way, the fries were the best fries I have ever eaten crispy flavourful and I had to finish every single one

Hands down the best beef dip I’ve had in a long, long time! This place is immaculately clean! Staff was amazing. Greeted with a smile very friendly warm Newfoundland feeling with an upscale twist.! I’m from St. John’s Newfoundland but we come over here every year for my birthday. Amazing establishment.

This weekend I ordered takeout and a small part of the order was forgotten, I don’t live in Stephenville so I couldn’t go back for it. As soon as they realized their mistake I was contacted by one of their lovely staff who apologized and offered me to come back the next day for a replacement meal on them. I eat here often with family and friends and it is our favourite spot! Amazing service and great food, highly recommend.

Had two visits here.
The first one was really good, had wings and fries. Sauce on the wings was good but they weren't really crispy wings, the fries were nice and crispy. The server did come back a few times to check on us, restaurant was fairly busy but overall everything was good.
The second visit was basically trash. Had the "bourbon" chicken. There is absolutely no bourbon on this chicken, it tasted like bland soya sauce. The dish is so pitiful. I honestly didn't even leave full, it's pitiful. It's supposed to come with bell peppers and there were none. I paid $19 for pathetic frozen vegetables, a potato and a carrot chopped up with some kind of sauce that absolutely has nothing to do with bourbon on the very little pieces of dark meat chicken they served. It was absolute trash and the restaurant wasn't even busy and the server literally never came back. Not to ask if we wanted more beer, if our trash meal was good or if we wanted any other trash off that menu. Horrible. There no excuse for not coming back to a table, unless she realized we were served garbage and knew we were gonna say it sucked. Never returning!

Atmosphere was great, food not so much, I order a pound of wings and I got 6, my potato skins were gross, was nothing more than a potato cut into chunks with cheese and bell peppers on it.

Great staff, healthy options. Highly recommend!
It’s my favourite place in town to eat. Great staff and service and it’s the best place in town for delicious and healthy food options. Unfortunately they had to take their house made hummus bowl and sandwich vegetarian options off the menu as there was not enough order’s but have other options that can be made vegetarian.

The hotel staff are also the bartenders so I went two days trying to catch the front desk staff before getting the wifi password. The staff seem to hang out/ socialize at the hotel/ bar so I was never sure who was working.

I did appreciate the large bureau, and decent sized mini fridge. It was not wheelchair accessible or mobility friendly, no ramps and every entrance has stairs.

Restaurant service was great but the menu online is different than in the restaurant.
