I've done the sock knitting class and thrummed mitten class, and 6 has been a great experience! The instructors are great! The shop itself is amazing! I love this place and hope to visit more! The owner, Kim, is absolutely lovely, too!

I went for my first wet felting class at this wonderful local wool & fibre shop with a good friend.
We made two beautiful little vessels to learn the basic techniques. And will share photos once they are complete, we have a little homework to complete.
We had the ‘best’ teacher ever, Val you are so patient and so very knowledgable by sharing all your ‘tips & tricks’.
So anxious to make my next creation with the Merina wool I purchased! 😊

Everything about my visit was stellar. Hell, even before I visited, I phoned and I think I spoke with the owner, but they were a delight. Didn't get the name of the person helping me when I popped by, but they were wonderful--honest, perceptive, and relatable. Just starting out with this media, but will come back to this space for all of my future fibre needs!

First visit at the Little Blue Fibre Studio and it did not disappoint. I loved the huge selection of sock yarns, roving and rustic yarns from Briggs and Little. Kim is super accommodating. If you email her about a specific yarn, she'll try her best to bring it in for you. The Studio has a cute, kid friendly play area at the front for those shopping with little ones as well!

I stopped in for the first time today after recently taking up needle felting as a hobby. It is a beautiful little shop and the owner is extremely knowledgeable, passionate and welcoming.
It also has a great embroidery selection.
Prices are really good and competitive with online (in many cases cheaper, especially when you factor in shipping costs online). I would much rather support a local shop like this than Amazon!!
This place is 100% worth checking out if you are into any type of fibre art.

There are honestly not words to describe how wonderful this store and the owner are. The prices are excellent in comparison to other fibre sellers in the city and online and the staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable.
If you have any felting or fibre arts needs I recommend this store hands down.
The second you meet the owner, Kim, you won't want to shop anywhere else.
I make wool dreadlocks and wouldn't have had the success I've had if it wasn't for the knowledge, kindness and enthusiasm I recieved from Kim.
