Living out in the BRV, sourcing supplies and materials for anything is usually a bit of a production, with plenty of advanced planning and organized trips to the city to try to pick up as many things as you can at a time. Shopping in Lilloeet is generally more expensive with limited options than the city, but it's only 2 hours away from me.

Timbermart is a bit of an anomaly. They always have way more than I expect in stock, and frequently for better prices than you'd get driving all the way to Kamloops to shop at that "orange store". Just this weekend on a Sunday, looking for an uncommon tool that you can't even buy in store at the Orange Store, I was sifting through my options. Trying to track one down in a physical store, and then dealing with the logistics of traveling to pick it up somewhere, or ordering online.. can I wait 13 days for it to show up? And pay $30 shipping into the valley? Ship it to lilloeet and go get it.2 weeks from now?

Even though Amber wasn't familiar with this obscure version of a tool and they didn't have it in stock, she looked it up from their supplier, and ordered several versions of it in for me to select from, to arrive on Tuesday afternoon. Shopping for hardware on a Sunday afternoon (when many other stores are closed), that's 7 times faster than my easiest option with a big box store/online shopping. Probably price competitive too.

And whenever someone buys something to be brought up to the BRV, they slap a sign on the door stating there's items waiting to be brought up, for anyone who happens to be passing through there on their way here.

Gem of a hardware store with great people, where you're not giving up anything in order to support a small town business.

Hardware at its best. "Was es hier nicht gibt, braucht man auch nicht" Von aussen hat man den Eindruck, es handelt sich um eine provisorische Halle, innen alles zu finden, was man sich bei einem Geschäft für Hardware vorstellen kann
