My wife and I got married in October at Brabant Barns in Sussex and chose Elisabeth as our photographer. We couldn't recommend Lacewood enough. She went the definition of "above and beyond" for us, which even included sewing my pants when they ripped an hour before the ceremony (disaster averted). Her experience with weddings really showed while she acted as practically a 2nd day-of coordinator for us during our big day. She made everything easier for us. Not to mention of course, the photos, which turned out amazing. We loved her preference of capturing candid moments over staged portraits. Our wedding album is absolutely stunning. She also was able to turn around the photos within about 2.5 weeks which is very impressive (and gave us a very generous sneak peak just a few days after the wedding). Thanks so much Elisabeth! Elisabeth is not only an amazing photographer who captures all the beautiful moments of your big day, but she is also someone great to have in your corner no matter what may arise. We hadn't been able to meet in person before the day due to COVID-19, but she was very responsive and accommodating to us, communicating over the phone and by e-mail. She made many accommodations for us as we had to totally re-plan our wedding 2 months before the date, and she was very understanding about it. On our wedding day she was very professional and friendly, making it easy to be yourself while she worked her magic. Our day had some very unexpected turns, as we had to stop the wedding reception to find our dog who had escaped in the middle of the day. Elisabeth not only helped us look for him for several hours, but also, when we found him, her first response was to come back to capture the celebration at the end of the night, well passed what we had originally planned. She went above and beyond for us and we're so thankful we chose her to be our photographer on our big day. The photos are amazing and we highly recommend her to anyone looking for the best!
