I am taking the Grieving Pet Parents: A Creative Exploration of Life, and although difficult emotionally, it has been very therapeutic for me to get back into mark-making. The co-facilitators have been so great, and one provides the music, and I have experienced that music as therapeutic as well. I highly recommend this course to anyone having difficulty losing a pet. I have signed up for another course, Natural Inkmaking + Alchemy: Connect with Your Inner Eco-Witch, and I am looking forward to that one as well. KATI provides a wide variety of art therapy offerings, and I am excited to see what they will offer next!

KATI is an incredible place to train as an art therapist and psychotherapist. I love how they create a supportive community for learning and growing in connection and competence. They have small class sizes, caring and flexible staff, Indigenous and anti-oppressive curriculum, and remain open to evolving in response to students and cultural shifts. I did the 2-year online distance program and felt very supported. Loved the 2 trips to BC for the immersion periods. Highly recommend.
