We've been part of Kumon for over two years with my oldest child and seven months with my second. I eagerly anticipate introducing my youngest to the program in the next few years. I've observed significant progress in not just math and reading skills but in my children's overall confidence in handling academic challenges.
While the program is primarily self-guided, the guidance from Kumon instructors has been valuable. Aiko responds promptly to emails and is always ready to assist the kids with difficulties. She's approachable and offers valuable feedback.
The program's cost is on the higher side, and while I would LOVE to see a sibling discount, seeing my children's improved academic performance and recognizing the routine and discipline that Kumon instills are invaluable for academic success and developing life skills (like time management, perseverance, and self-motivation), I genuinely believe it is a worthwhile investment.
Our experience with Kumon has been positive, and as I said, it extends beyond just mastering math or enhancing reading abilities; it's about cultivating a disciplined learning approach, a crucial skill that will benefit all aspects of my children's lives. I highly recommend Chestermere Kumon.
