Jen worked with my wife and I to capture our elopement on relatively short notice in Ucluelet, BC. Even though the weather was somewhat stormy, she was so easy and fun to work with, and the resulting photos are breathtaking. She knows how to coach the moment, and make you comfortable and relaxed in-front of the camera for a natural result. She was also very accommodating to our anxious puppy.

Highly recommend if you are looking to capture the stunning landscape of Vancouver Island's west coast as your backdrop. She also gave us great recommendations for photo printing and photo book services. Would use her services again.

Jen is absolutely fantastic. She is kind, professional, responsive, fun and an artist with her photography! When choosing a photographer for our small beach wedding in Tofino, my husband and I were instantly drawn to Jen’s style of photography. When we reached out, we were even more impressed by her great personality and helpfulness. Out of all the vendors/professionals we were talking to Jen was by far the quickest and most thorough with her replies. We were coming to Tofino from out of town and before we had even officially hired Jen, she was already giving us valuable tips that helped us to plan our day. She was able to tell us what time of day might work well for pictures, what weather we may experience, and even recommended the venue we ended up booking for the wedding dinner! She has a great understanding of the area and has a wealth of knowledge.
Our wedding day went perfectly and Jen was a big part of that. She was on time and was able to go to multiple locations to take our ‘getting ready’ pictures. She remembered pretty much all of our guests names (they were very impressed). She did a great job of telling us how to stand for certain photos but also catching candid moments for other photos. She was fun and comfortable to work with, making jokes and helping everyone feel comfortable. Being just one person she was still able to capture all the special moments of our ceremony…she knows just where and when to be! Our photos all turned out so beautiful and we will cherish the memories she helped capture forever. Down to the last edits she was outstanding to work with. We are especially grateful for the number of photos we ended up with… more than expected! If you hire her you 100% won’t regret it.

As a couple who never experienced professional photography, we knew photographing the moments of our elopement was important in keeping these special memories forever. We loved Jen's style of photography but we really loved her energetic personality and zest for life!
From the first email conversation to our Zoom meet and greet, up until the day of; communication with Jen was so easy, like chatting with an old friend. She was quick to answer all our questions as she guided us through the process while also taking note of what we envisioned our day to look like.
What became of our nerves quickly disappeared on the day thanks to Jen. It was a perfectly gray and misty Tofino morning- everything felt right.
She made us all feel so comfortable and natural while making our morning elopement fun. Her direction not only helped to capture goofy candid moments but she also captured the special intimate moments of our first time as husband and wife in a place so near and dear to us.
As I obsessively look at all the wonderful photos, I am instantly taken back to the laughs, the vows, the mist, walking bare feet in the sand with my sandy train, our siblings, and our first moments as husband and wife. We are so appreciative of Jen and the memories she captured for us, she made our elopement morning unforgettable!

Jen was fabulous! We absolutely love our wedding photos!
I had dreams of a beautiful Tofino sunset for my wedding photos, but the weather had other plans and graced us with fog. Jen captured the fog so beautifully and I have fallen in love with the moody romantic vibe of the “fogset” that I am grateful we got the magical weather we did. We were made to feel very comfortable in front of the camera and I feel that Jen really captured us! We are truly grateful for the moments she captured and couldn’t have imagined a better wedding photographer!
