Jackie is a super amazing wonderful photographer, more than anything we could have asked for! My husband and I eloped in Canmore - we're from out of town and had no idea where or how to start planning a destination wedding.

Jackie not only met with us to discuss our vision and idea for our wedding day, but provided recommendations on locations, vendors, hotels, etc. that we could look into and plan our stay. THIS WAS A HUGE CLUTCH, as we did not know the area, so having some\one provide advice was very helpful.

The day-of the wedding, Jackie was super passionate in capturing the perfect shot. She helped us with poses, gave us direction, and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we wanted captured.

We also went on an adventure shoot with her the next day, where we climbed up a mountain. I'm not an experienced hiker, but Jackie took the time to guide me through the trails, which I really appreciated! Although the hike was tough (I struggled but I made it!), it was so worth it to get some shots up on the mountain top.

I cannot recommend Jackie enough! If you're thinking of getting married in the Rockies, I 1000% recommend working with her.

Besides getting married, picking Jackie as our photographer is the best decision we've made in Canmore.

Reasons my wife and I adore Jackie:
1.) she offered so much time, energy, and emotional support in planning our wedding. We did a destination elopement (Chicago/Toronto residents) and Jackie made everything so simple. She provided us lists of locations, restaurants, florists, officiants, hotels etc. She even sent us photos from previous shoots to view locations as they would be during our ceremony the upcoming year.

2.) Jackie is a true artist. She asked for our vision on what we wanted out of the experience/ her photography, and made it happen. We literally watched Jackie lay in the dirt in a dress to capture the perfect shot. Her passion for photography and for our moment really meant a lot to us.

3.) Whenever hiring someone you never know what your going to get. Jackie treated us like friends, NOT clients. She was so excited for us from beginning to end (we started planning a year in advance). She was a wonderful conversationalist and also voiced concerns gently to help us make better choices. She never tried to take the easy way out, but made sure we were capable, comfortable, and willing to do whatever we asked before we "locked it in".

4.) Jackie's photos are the best in the business. She came up with such unique and interesting shots with us. Sometimes we were placed, sometimes she took sneaky candid shots. She hiked up a mountain with us to get the perfect shot at 4:30 am. I am not photogenic especially compared to my wife, and Jackie made me look cool, collected, dapper etc.

In conclusion, if you're reading this, please know Jackie was the full package. She was kind, funny, articulate, creative and talented. The value she brought to not only our elopement but our time in Canmore should not be understated. From squatting in a swarm of mosquitos to get the perfect shot, to trekking up a mountain, to helping us pick the perfect location and the right people to make our ceremony wonderful, she did it all and then some.

We sincerely hope in the future we can return to Canmore to celebrate our anniversary and plan to work with Jackie again!

I don’t know where to start with how completely amazing Jackie is! We had never done a photoshoot before, and she put us immediately at ease during our engagement shoot, and we were so comfortable on our wedding day. We always knew we were in the best of hands. It was a little wedding without a bridal party, but Jackie just stepped in as the bridesmaid I didn’t have to cover everything from vendor recommendations to secrets to keeping warm during our winter wedding, and even somehow getting our dog to pose like a gentleman with us. Our pictures are so incredible, I cannot say enough about how thrilled we are with them. Jackie is a total gem and your day will be so perfectly captured, I endlessly recommend her!

My husband and I were fortunate to have chosen Jackie as our photographer for a couple shoot on our wedding day. We were looking for someone local to Canmore and were highly impressed by Jackie's portfolio along with her prompt communication as we engaged in initial conversation over email. What struck me the most about her was her enthusiasm in learning more about our vision; she was particularly excited about the idea of us potentially incorporating cultural elements into our shoot and was supportive as we contemplated having our dog be a part of our special day. My husband and I are certainly not posers and don't consider ourselves as naturals in front of a camera. Jackie put our mind at ease with the hundreds of "what ifs" that crossed my mind and the anxiety of how we were going to make the most of our time in what felt like the one shot we had of capturing our special day. She was great at scouting out potential locations and creative in trying to facilitate a unique shoot that aligned with our vision, exploring all options from hiking mountains, gondola rides, lakes, bridges and all that the beautiful Rockies has to offer. On the morning of our shoot the weather had different plans for us. Jackie remained hopefully, but never lost sight of our vision and was mindful of our preferences. She was very understanding about the unpredictable weather conditions and was flexible with the idea of potentially having the reschedule our shoot, despite having committed to a specific day so far in advance. This meant a lot to us, but fortunately it didn't get to that. Jackie was a master behind the camera, professional in her interactions, timely and maintained an approachable demeanor that made us feel at ease throughout the session. She was creative and spontaneous, and patiently listened to our ideas, seamlessly incorporating them into the shoot. It was a cold, but fun, beautiful day in Canmore and she turned out photos into masterpieces that we will cherish forever. Jackie, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for facilitating such a positive experience ! We hope to work with you again.

Jackie is amazing at what she does! If I could give more stars I would! My fiance and I had an absolute blast working with her! She was knowledgeable, professional but most important she was fun! She made us feel relaxed and comfortable and gave good direction to capture us as our most authentic selves. When we got our finished photos we stunned... They were more than perfect!
It is no question that we will be hiring her for our wedding and look forward to working with her again!
