Dear InfoTel, I am extremely disappointed in who you are and how you conduct business and I encourage anybody who is looking at dealing with this company to look elsewhere. The company I owned a few years ago, ( since sold the company),engaged in multiple cities with the InfoTel advertising, both in print and through their suggested Media offerings. I was alerted by a potential customer who canceled their order with us, that they were canceling it because of a social media posting hosted by InfoTel that described my company as a horrible company and described several rip offs and miss practices that we had supposedly done. Upon investigation, I figured out that the Social media posting was real, but it was for a company in Australia with the same name as my company. I of course, was in the Okanagan Valley, after discussions with Infotel, the posting was taken down and I insisted on canceling any further interactions with InfoTel from that day forward. The sales manager of the day spent a fair amount of time trying to talk me out of canceling and in the end offered me a $10,000 advertising credit. Fair enough, I accepted the offer and chose to move forward, upon trying to use the so-called credit, Infotel insisted that it could only be used with combined other purchases of their product to which I did not agree with. I walked from all further advertising or payments to Infotel for their misdeeds And eventually some years later they have decided to sell the debt( from their point of view),to a very sleazy collection company called ICON Out of the Vancouver area. The arrangement I had for my original purchase With InfoTel was through a limited company that I was the president of, Infotel andICON have chosen to name me personally as the debtor as opposed to the limited company that I was president of, I have refused to deal with them and have any discussions on this matter until such time as they get their legalities right, but they refuse and continue to threaten my personal credit line. I guess we will see you in court, and I will continue to publish this journey, not only here but through other social media outlets, two can play this game Infotel and I will be ramping things up from my end until you choose to have some reasonable conversation. perhaps I will just stop by your office is in Vernon one day unannounced and you can deal with me live and in person instead of hiding behind a collection company that likes to use bully practices. Your choice.

Terrible company to deal with. when I did not want to renew my advertising with them they still charged my credit card, tried using high pressers sales and delay tactics refused to refund my money. then a third person (manager) called to set up a forth meeting to find an amicable solution to spend my money that they wont refund lol. Terrible experience I will never deal with infotel again.

I told them I had 1500 for a budget and wrote a cheque and told them that was all I could pay. The salesperson took and cashed my cheque and asked me to sign a contract. They came after me for another 1500 with a small claims court. I would not recommend dealing with this company. Not interested in helping you only themselves.
