Had horrible interaction with man called Thor K. He is so rude and puts people down instead of listening and actually answering questions you have. Also stay away if you are POC, he is unwelcoming and makes jokes about darker skin tones. Not funny at all.

absolutely stunning hall! there are art shows and music performances held here, and the hall itself is gorgeous. with wood stacked walls, glass corners,and a giant stump you go through as its front door, its hard to miss!

Gets 5 stars because look at it looks like it's something other than Lord of the Rings. Maybe there should be some Hobbits running around there or something. Anyway Hornby Island is an awesome amazing place I should just everyone and anyone should get a chance to get there go there

Sure, it might be a bit run down with holes in the floor and poor lighting, but the warmth of both rooms is unparalleled. Community built. Community maintained. Community run. Community loved.

People either love or hate the siding, but that entryway! Wow.

The centre of action at the Hornby blues camp. A great facility for workshops and concerts.

I've patronized a lot of community centres across Canada.Never have I seen one with the unusual architectural design like this one.Although most are built nicely but none are as unique this one on Hornby Island.I never got to go inside because of the hours of operation and I'll most certainly have to visit when it's open.
