The Hope Hustle Trail to Hope Lookout is a rewarding challenge with a steep climb, but the breathtaking views at the top make every step worth it! As you ascend, you’re surrounded by lush greenery, and once you reach the peak, you’re greeted with panoramic vistas that stretch over the rolling hills and valleys below. It’s a great spot to pause, catch your breath, and soak in the beauty of the landscape. Perfect for hikers looking for a bit of adventure and those seeking stunning photo opportunities!

Very nice walk up to ~550m elevation for a view of Hope.

The bench and logbook at the top are also a nice touch.

Beautiful views from the top! Well maintained and very easy to follow. Lots of switch backs and steep terrain. Took approximately 1 hour up with a moderate pace.

This hike is very steep. Definitely more difficult than Lindeman lake or Abby Grind. However, the view from the top is worth it! You get an incredible view of downtown Hope and Kawkawa lake. If your an experienced hiker, this hike will probably be easy for you, if your an intermediate hiker, I would say It would be moderate for you, and if your a beginner it will definitely be hard. It’s a grind. Takes about 1.5 hours up and 1 hour down.

I love the hike to the Hope Lookout. When I've not been in shape, it is a grueling hour and a half to get to the Lookout. My personal record is 45 minutes but I've heard the records are closer to 25 minutes, so it really depends on your fitness level.

The first few minutes are sometimes the most tiring but then it levels out for a bit. After the Lower Lookout, the first section is tough, but doable, the next section is the hardest with lots of stairs and the final section a bit easier.

The view from the top is a nice bonus and a lot of new benches have been installed so there's lots of room to spread out. If you bring toilet paper, they've even installed an outdoor toilet just at the end of the rock slide if you follow the trail. My 7-year old has used it, but I am not that brave.
