If I could give this property management company zero stars, I would. They are the absolute worst when it comes to communication. Calls and emails go unanswered for weeks, and when they do respond (on the rare occasion), it’s nothing but empty promises. They have done absolutely no work despite paying strata fees that seem to vanish into thin air. It’s like throwing money down the drain.

The property manager is completely useless and unresponsive. EV chargers that were promised months ago are still not installed—it’s been over four months, and we’re still waiting with no updates. Power outages? You’re on your own because they provide no support or solutions. Waste management? Don’t even get me started—garbage and recycling are a mess.

Their decision-making is terrible, leaving residents in limbo on just about everything. If you value your sanity, do yourself a favor and avoid this company at all costs. They are the epitome of inefficiency and a massive waste of money. Do not let them ruin your property or your peace of mind.

I've only been dealing with this property management company (specifically Sonja Madorsky) for a short time and already had enough issues to justify posting this.

She messed up my move in by not properly creating notification for the 1 elevator building (had people approaching me during my move upset because notifications of move in were missing, as required).

She was unreachable on the date of move in. She failed to provide a key for the front doors so I could open BOTH doors for my move (which is the reason 2 doors exist). As a result, I had to force everything through the one side which caused unnecessary inconvenience. Given I paid $200 to move in, this is completely unacceptable.

She (or whoever she instructed) initially messed up my name on the intercom which caused me to miss 1 time sensitive delivery.

She was dismissive of my visitor parking concerns, despite me bringing forth a legitimate issue that had potential safety implications and was blatantly in violation of the building rules.

On top of that, every reply was like pulling teeth. Often times I had to email her twice to get a response. Some emails went completely ignored. She lacks professionalism and it's disheartening to deal with people like her who care so little to do their actual job.

Started renting in Oct 2024 will multiple issues which is fine when they are attended to in a timely manner. Brenda Currie and her 'assistant' Nadine do not answer emails or phone until threatened that I will be getting the work done and taking it out of the rent. Nadine is condescending and unprofessional and Brenda is just lazy I would assume as she never does her job. I spoke with the office manager and he is useless as well, didn't care (attitude when speaking to me) and never called me back, shocker! No one cares, no one responds and it takes forever to get anything fixed. As a licensed property manager for years, there are good rental agencies and bad, stay away from these unprofessionals unless you are looking for a nightmare!

The property managers at HomeLife are not good or properly trained. I’m happy giving them a 1 star review because their property inspector is a nice guy.

As for communication, it’s terrible and just outright unprofessional. Quick responses with no thought going into them. That’s if you even get one back.

Can’t even clean the house before you move in. I suppose asking them to clean gum and cat pee off the floors is a big ask, that takes months to get done.

Simple repairs take months to get done by random friends of the owners who leave behind messes for you to clean and gifts in the toilet for you to clean up.

HomeLife makes it very well known that you are just a tenant who pays their salary’s and they don’t care about anything else you have to say.

Victoria has been an amazing property manager. Shes always on top of her game especially on maintanance. I would tell her about an issue and in a day or two a technician is sent to fix the issue. Super happy with her service

Good luck getting ahold of Jeff Sandison. He actively ignores emails from owners, and his phone's voicemail is conveniently always full. I've never experienced such a lack of communication and professionalism from a property manager. You won't hear from him for weeks or months at a time, not even a simple email explaining any delays or updates. You are left in the dark.

I have been trying to get my windows fixed since September. Cold air is constantly entering my home. After several emails and phone calls every other day, it took 2 months to approve a simple repair quote before they could even order the parts. Now, more waiting and running up my heating bill because the parts are coming from the USA with no ETA, something that could have been in motion weeks ago.

The receptionist, Jessica, has done more for me and my home so far. Give her a raise because Jeff is no help when it comes to strata-covered repairs in your home.

Victoria has been the property manager that I've been dealing with and between her professionalism, quick response time to phone calls and emails and all around amazing personality, I wouldn't want it any other way. She is absolutely amazing to deal with and knows her stuff. I've never felt so at home so quick.

Loved working with Victoria. The team has been transparent in their work with me. Victoria was always quick to act - I still remember a showing that she made happen within hour or so for a prospective tenant.
