Deborah is a fantastic music teacher, able to engage and inspire students through both traditional Suzuki practices and innovative methods that make learning new skills and music theory fun. My son started violin lessons with her at age 6 and kept up with them through high school. Her willingness to let him play some of his favourite music (AC/DC!) and compose his own pieces to share with the group inspired a lifelong love of music.

Deborah is a talented and accomplished violinist and teacher. As a beginning adult learner, Deborah was the perfect teacher. She understood my intentions and continually assessed my progress as I learned to play the violin. As a result she could keep me advancing at an appropriate yet challenging pace. She provided me with opportunities to play with others which, for me, was extremely motivational and enjoyable. I was a student with Deborah for approximately ten years and had to say good-bye because of moving away. I have yet to find someone to fill her shoes.
